I have a few with plans, and a dragon I might turn into a thorntail... but none will beat this fella.

This is Smoothie.
I was pricing Thorntails early after release on a whim. To see what the average price was, to see if I could find some fun color combos, all of that fun stuff.
And then I find this lovely lad.
Natural facet, born XXY, and a surprisingly affordable price of 100kt. I fell in love and could actually get myself a G1 double for once. I grabbed him as soon as possible.
I proceeded to fixate on getting him looking handsome as fast as physically possible. There's a lot of genes that look good on him, but I settled on this.
Now, the real question you might have is "why Smoothie?" The answer is simple - he makes me think of a delicious fruit smoothie when I look at his colors. Little guy makes me hungry but also very very happy.

My little blossom :]
Shortly before Thorntails released I'd identified one of my original pairs of gaolers as a couple I'd like to regene the next time there was a new breed - and within days, not only was there thorntails, but one of my two Galore eggs hatched out a female whose colours worked to be a second mate for the male of that pair! Very much a 'the game gods hath spoken' moment for me. Anyway, the gaoler male regened beautifully; this is ColonelBlimp in his new form and coat of moss:

I love putting together a fossil dragon pair whenever a breed has the requisite ghost and/or skeletal genes available, so of course I did so with thorntails. Palatine, the one with skeletal, turned out particularly handsome:

And finally I'd also decided to regene a pair of banescale tree dragons I had; this is how Areca looks after her makeover:

Best dragon species by far, can't get enough of these little dudes!!
Candela, my first clan hatch.

Papili was the first one I was able to fully gene, which was ironic because I redesigned her scry too many times to count. I think this design was a winner:

Haven't settled on a name for this ungened gooey gal quite yet, but she's probably going to be one of my faves once she's done - I've been wanting a shadow primal for ages now and she seems like the perfect fit. Full scry in bio!

Pottery

Earthenware
My terracotta pottery inspired pair! they have one nest and have laid eggsactly one (1) egg. It was really fun coming up with a morphology for pottery, who was one of my account eggs, and then cooking up a gal for him! :D

Bryopsida
My creatureee~ <3 Her eyes are made of honey, and her heart is made of moss. Be kind to her, ok? She bites, but only if you're rude. Well, to her, rude is basically just not giving her any bugs to chew on, sooo...

The Prince of All Cosmos
A fandragon of the character of the same name, hailing from the game Katamari Damacy. When I first read the Thorntails' encyclopedia entry, this little guy was all I could think of... I mean, they're tiny, love collecting things, and are kind of odd? Literally the cosmics as a species.
Oh, and while I'm at it...

Fujio
A cousin to the prince and one of my two free hatches. First thing I thought upon seeing him was "oh, perfect Fujio colours". Doesn't help that Fujio is my favourite, so I obviously had to gene him up as soon as I could. There go my gems...
