i know, i've been playing for a long time. it would bother me even more if it wasn't like that. still, the artificial scarcity FOMO aspect esp when combined with the premium currency makes me uncomfortable. others don't have to feel the same way, of course, but i do. i hope staff will get rid of this element eventually.

Right, but you being uncomfortable with it doesn't make it morally or ethically wrong. No one is being harmed by some gem MP items cycling in twice a year and its not FOMO because, unlike fest items, these items will always come back twice a year. They are not gone permanently.
Is it inconvenient? Sure, but lets not act like its a moral or ethical failing on staff's part. Its not that deep.[/center]

I don't usually bite on the gem sales, preferring to earn gems through game play, which makes me think harder about how badly I really want to buy something costing gems. But if I'm going to buy them, now is the time! I have only spent $20 at a time in the past, being poor these days, but this time I donated plasma first and got the next package up. So I was able to make a carefully considered selection of purchases from the cycled-in market, and stash the rest for later wishes. Worth it, IMO.
