I'm basically the same as you lol. Sometimes I'm absolutely obsessed and play every chance I get and spend hours on it every single day, usually when there's less stuff going on in real life. When I'm busier I definitely play less. I did recently take a decently long hiatus though where I completely forgot to check up on everything lol!

I played daily for over 5 years but at some point started taking hiatuses here and there. Never going anywhere forever tho. :) longest hiatus was a tad over a year I think

I've been less active lately because I've been really busy with IRL stuff, mostly because I'm working full time now as opposed to having part time and unstable jobs or being a student. I still try to log on for holidays though, although I missed the last one. I'm definitely gonna be on for NotN though since my work is off for the holidays (I'm a teacher).

I definitely relate to OP here. Sometimes I will actively play, but usually I just feed my dragons, maybe stare at a few of them, and check the forums.

I tend to play flight rising casually and keep to myself most of the year, then be really active and interact with the community for a few months before going on hiatus for a month or two. Not a cycle I do on purpose, just something I've noticed. I actually just came back from a month long hiatus a week ago. I'm disappointed I missed the Rockbreakers Ceremony but I'm excited for NotN! I'm here and then I'm not. I come on once or twice a year (Brightshine, NOTN) And then intermittently feed my dragons and look for artwork

Edit : I have waited for the better part of a decade for PvP to return. Not kidding. Sin here was bought as a hatchling and trained for coli PvP because I thought it was coming back the following year. She is now eight years old :sob:

Hence my motivation wanes

Pretty darn active I'd say.

Got winter break so I got plenty of time, the prep for NOTN has been engaging, been bonding with my fams alot, I've also been 3d modeling a sandsurge dragon, been posting about that a bunch for now an entire month so that's very much kept me tethered here.

Also just forum browsing is fun, seeing what everyone's up to.

i challenged myself this year to be as active as i can so i could experience a full round of festivals and holidays and get a sense for what i liked the most about the game, so i've been doing my dailies consistently and some occasional coli grinding/exalting during pushes. i suspect my activity will go down a little bit in the new year, but i do like how FR mostly keeps me off social media so i don't think my activity will drop too much. until i run out of projects, maybe. I've been extremely active for most of that, although I have taken short breaks from any activity other than dailies sometimes - the most recent period being like august-october of this year when I got really obsessed with Dappervolk again haha (I'm still obsessed, but a bit less so. and my activity on here is still less than it once was because of that, but I have been coming and buying SOME dragons and posting on the forums a bit, which is more than I did during any of my semi-hiatus!)

My activity comes in spurts. I'm either 1) super duper active and restlessly doing a little of everything all the time forever always, 2) super ultra casual and hopping on for like... 10 minutes a day to do lazy dailies, or 3) I go into a timeblind haze and suddenly realize "Oh, the year is suddenly 2031. Wonder what's going on with FlightRising, time to login."
