my custom progen, tempest! i still really like his colours so thankfully haven't had to scatter him. i had no idea what to do with the thistle tert for the longest time but eventually a nice combination of genes allowed me to work with it! his geneing journey goes like this, taken from his bio:

Mindfog is a complete recluse. Driven mad by otherworldly powers, he stays in the Deep Den, where his own clan is never allowed to tread. It has been so long since sunlight graced his scales that some say he is dead, or a lie. Only Greenfew and a select few advisors are allowed near him.
Greenfew is the "true" leader that the majority of the clan knows and loves. She is kinder than Mindfog--a former healer, somewhat grumpy in her old age but still willing to help out where needed. She acts as a mouthpiece for Mindfog, bringing whatever strange new rules he may demand to the ears of their fellow dragons.

Was my custom progen and started on my account as a Maize/Ice/Black guardian. She's the wayward leader of my clan and very much enjoys changing her looks frequently. I scatter her pretty regularly as I feel the need for fresh colors.

He has also had a lot of different colors since I got him back, but he's definitely staying in this current form permanently as I am sufficiently happy with his look.
Once he was back I decided to incorporate his time away into my clan lore. Him and Larka do not get along; having very different personalities. They even have different factions who follow the orders of one or the other.
Them both ending up as Wildclaws is kindof a coincidence, but fitting. I'm currently overhauling my clan lore for more cohesion across my clan, but I would be happy for anyone to check out what I do have.

where i was really stumped on what to do with him. in 2023, around the same time i gave Laika malachite, i also refreshed Myran to look like this:

and then one day i was browsing the auction house for skins/accents, stumbled across the accent Myran is currently wearing, and went !!!!! omg it'd be so fun if i gave Myran the peacock tertiary gene with the red accent colour to play with the red eyes in the accent !!!!! and completely switched up his vibes from vaguely nerdy scholar type, to eldritch abomination to go with Laika's cursed vibes, though i haven't 100.00% settled on his current lore yet

My custom progen, Samiras, has stayed mostly the same since I first gened her up. I've tossed around changing her to an Everlux, but I really like the lore I've got for her right now that's tied to her being a Guardian.

My random progen, Ebru, has gone through a lot of changes, but I've really come to love him! Still his original breed, but I changed his genes so many times before settling on Chorus/Morph/Firebreather. They've both kept their original colors even though I really did not know what to do with Ebru's Splash tert for the longest time.
