Here's my custom, Curie:

Both are still their original breeds and colors. I got super lucky with Curie ending up an XYY (although I still haven't figured out a better way to express the secondary or tert than basic... still waiting for something that will complement her look rather than overcomplicate it, and the white wings are supposed to suggest a labcoat so patterns and stuff wouldn't fit) but I wasn't happy with Baikal's colors at first so he spent way too long covered up with a full skin. Then I discovered some genes that suited him perfectly and now I'm delighted with how he turned out!
I don't write out lore or anything but in my head, they lead their clan together by example and wise counsel rather than stern authority, embodying what I interpret as two important aspects of Arcane: seeking knowledge (Curie) and a drive for exploration (Baikal). They're also two of my main coli dragons.

Both were originally Mirrors back when I was in Plague. Long story short, I was planning to turn them into Nocturnes, but I didn’t have the funds at the time since I was still new. I ended up abandoning them for about five years (Plaguebringer was not proud of me).
I tried again last year (or 2?) and finally transformed them into Nocturnes, but they were neglected (by the looks of it). Icewarden told me to turn them into Sandsurges and eventually ended up turning them into Sandsurges. [s]Totally Sandsurgical[/s] LOL.
