I got lucky with my NotN hatches and ended up with an XXY, but the colors are a little... silly.

a female nocturne dragon with carrot primary, carrot secondary, and green tertiary genes, all basic

This is Carrot, and she is Carrot primary, Carrot secondary... and Green tertiary. :P

I'm trying to figure out the best scry to make this dragon an Actual Carrot.

We have all the ingredients. But I am still new and don't have a good working knowledge of all the genes. So instead of clicking around randomly forever, I thought I'd ask for some advice :)

Here's what I've got so far:
The following dragon was generated using the Predict Morphology tool. This saved morphology is titled actual factual carrot.
Image of a dragon: Adult Female Thorntail dragon with Carrot Basic primary, Carrot Sugarplum (Thorntail) secondary, and Green Moss (Thorntail) tertiary genes. The dragon has Common Fire element eyes.

Doesn't have to be a Thorntail, they just struck me as carrot-like. Any ideas??

hmm.. well first of all if you go for a breed with noticeable eyes, using an unusual eye vial might be good, as it matches the actual carrot color much closer than common eyes. anyways i'm gonna be focusing on the greens with ancients

my absolute first thought was paradise, because carrot greens are really filamentous and thin like that, but i'm not so sure now that i'm actually looking at it
ripple stripes paradise everlux scry

then willow, of course, and i think it works, but it ain't the slam dunk outta-the-park i thought it was going to be
tapir stripes willow auraboa hatchling scry

oddly i think the tert that's doing it for me the most, in terms of the actual placement/distribution, is aether medusa? but it's...not exactly planty
tiger stripes medusa aether

but honestly, you have to actively try to make her not a carrot. absolutely go wild, i hope a lot of people try to scry there's so much Carrot possiblilty

These colors are excellent! I would definitely keep her as a thorntail and use the Moss gene! She would fetch you a pretty penny. I would pay a bunch of gems for her lol.
