Understandable. As a consumer, with all of these products going to some sort of subscription model lately, I don't have anything against piracey.
As a developer, paid copies allows us to continue working on it. That's all. If you can't support it financially, then don't obviously. Engaging in posts like this, telling others about the game (preferably through our normal sites lol) is support as well.
And if the day comes that you are able to buy a copy, do it then, that's all I'm saying.
Programmer for GS here! Just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (or a great regular day if you dont partake in this holday!)
We are thankful for each and everyone of you for all of your support! Don't forget, if anyone has any direct questions, you are more than welcome to hit me up on Discord (same name) and I'll answer any questions or I'll continue replying here as well.
Stay tuned to what we have planned for 2026, Chiro's journey still has a lot of road in front of her!
Our paid version helps keep the project going. It being pirated doesn't help us much in that regard, so I'm a bit disappointed that players will resort to that AND then discuss it on our own page lol
But, yes, if you have previous saved data, due to the overhaul of the dialogue system, you are likely missing out on a required variable/setting and are in a soft-lock state. You probably need to restart your game over and you should be able to continue.
And to your other question, the full version ends this arc with Chiro about to embark on getting her degree so she can come back and get a job.
If you do enjoy it, please consider supporting us on Patreon!
Programmer for GS here! Not sure what you mean by "couples routes?"
Do you mean 3somes? If that's the question, yes. We have dual conductor animations in and we plan on having every combination of enemies available as well (but that'll take a while due to art taking more time than code usually does)
If that's not your question, reply back with more details and I'll answer!
It depends. Typically we'll do as many as it takes to get any bugs that we feel are game-breaking. No one wants to get stuck and lose progress for example, so we look for things like that. Small bugs that don't really "block" the game from continuing, we'll either add to our next update or do a hotfix patch if its decent enough (like the black screen on Android we ran into last time update). On example of a bug we're "allowing" is if you go backwards from the beach and you go back into the ripped outfit, there's no way back into the bikini model currently. Aesthetically not as pleasing to some but it doesn't stop the game from progressing.
Typically its 2, but by the very nature of game dev, when you fix a bug, you allow the code to reach different areas it was previously breaking before. So you might introduce more bugs but fixing others lol It's not an easy process!
Late as hell reply, because I didn't know you could do separate comments on the posts lol. Programmer for GS here! Itch.io version's content will only ever be up until the train station. NEW content is limited to Patreon (we gotta eat!)
However, itch version will always get new updates, such as systems, dialogue, any changes we make to combat, the Forest and Beach levels.
Hey! Programmer for GS here. You are not a pathetic fucking failure. You may FEEL like one sometimes, but that does not define you as a person!
In the NEXT update, I plan on overhauling out settings menus and structure so we'll be able to have a shit load more customization options available for our players. So, its not in this patch, but it will be in the next one!
Today, we put out a second build to our testers after fixing the stuff they found in the first round. So far, we're only seeing opinions but no actual bugs have been reported, at least at the time of me posting this so, hopefully within a few days if they dont find anything extremely game-breaking. Minor things we'll just wrap up in either a hot fix OR we'll patch it in the following update.
We're so close!
You "shouldn't" lose any progress in this update! This update we didn't do much in the way of changes that effect the saved data. But can't say for 100% certainty though.
I can say that NEXT update after this one, you will most likely lose progress as one of the last few systems that we need to completely overhaul, is the save system.
But, when I create the new system, I'll try and create a tool that will allow us to convert the data to the new one. Just can' t make promises on that.
Agree to what exactly?
If you want to make a 3D game, go for it! There's tons of tutorials out there nowadays and LOADS of resources to get started. Keep plugging away at things.
I'm on discord at the same handle and this goes for anyone, if you are interested in game dev and want to use Unity (I dont know Godot, GM2 or Unreal) you are more than welcome to add me and ask all the questions you want, I actually love teaching this stuff! I dont have time to walk someone through everything step by step, but I can point you to some videos that I used myself and can answer questions if you get stuck!
