Random acnl info I’ve deduced because of course there’s no official confirmation about how many dropped items you can have in your town and I’ve been scrolling through blogposts from 10 years ago:
I can confirm up to 20 dropped items in your town will not bring down the town rating from perfect.
I had redropped shells in different locations than their original spawn location for decorating purposes years ago, so I have a minimum of 14 items dropped in my town at all times (Initial shell spawns do not count toward dropped items). I’ve recently been adding more dropped items like a mushroom away from the stump spawn, along with an ore and one of the lost items. Basically I’ve been sweating trying to figure out how many items I can drop without breaking my perfect town rating and not having Jacob’s ladders spawn so I hope this is helpful for somebody 💔💔
