ClickXP – Turn your mouse clicks into a competitive grind

ClickXP is a Windows desktop app that turns every mouse click into XP, levels and a fully competitive ranking system.

Track your grind, chase new records and climb the leaderboards while doing what you already do at your PC.

ClickXP comes with a desktop client and a companion website where you can manage your account, profile and stats.

⚠️ ClickXP is currently in Beta – features are evolving fast and feedback is highly appreciated.

🖱️ Desktop Client – XP, Levels & Daily Grind

The ClickXP client runs on your PC and quietly tracks your clicks while you use your computer.

Current features include:

• XP & Leveling System

  • Every valid click gives you XP.

  • Level up over time and unlock a sense of long-term progression.

• Daily Quests & Popups

  • Daily objectives reset automatically at 00:00 UTC.

  • A popup notification system appears when you level up or complete your daily quests, giving instant visual feedback for your milestones.

• New Fixed Navigation UI

  • The old external/multi-menu system has been removed.

  • A fixed menu controls navigation while the main content area updates dynamically, making the app easier and faster to use.

• Leaderboards Inside the App

  • Dedicated Leaderboards section to browse all active rankings directly from the client.

  • Your current position is shown next to leaderboard titles so you always know where you stand.

  • Custom 1st / 2nd / 3rd place visuals and custom icons next to leaderboard titles to highlight top players and improve readability.

• Advanced Profile (in-app)

  • A modern Profile section with:

    • Neon-border avatar circle (Avatar BETA), styled username, rank pill and subtitle showing your selected avatar.

    • “Current Rating” block with large CR value and rank badge always visible.

    • Rank & Progress card with:

      • current rank + rating

      • progress bar to the next tier

      • descriptive status text

      • dedicated loading / success / error states

      • automatic updates when your rank changes.

    • Player Summary grid for core metrics:

      • Level

      • XP

      • Total clicks

      • and other essentials wired to live updates.

    • Full integration with avatar selection: the avatar you choose is shown across the profile and UI.

    • Rank data is fetched & cached via refresh_profile_data(), /ranking/me and /user/stats, with automatic UI refresh when your rating or rank changes.

• Advanced Personal Stats (Grind Analytics)

  • Peak Burst Record – highest number of clicks in a short time window (5s / 10s / 30s), with separate daily and all-time records.

  • Grind Day Count – number of days where you passed high click thresholds (e.g. 10,000+ or 25,000+ clicks), distinguishing between hard grind and insane grind days.

  • Prime Time – detects the time window where you usually click the most (e.g. 21:00–23:00) and how much stronger you perform compared to your daily average.

  • Grind Consistency Score – percentage of days (in the last 30 days) where you reached your daily click target, focusing on long-term consistency rather than streaks.

• Quality of Life & UX Improvements

  • Option to start ClickXP automatically with Windows.

  • Multiple visual polish passes to make the client lighter, cleaner and more responsive.

  • Tooltips on progress bar, level display and daily quests to explain your current status and goals.

  • Refined scrollbars and small layout tweaks to match the cyber / neon style of the app.

🧠 Competitive Ranking System & Anti-Cheat (Backend)

ClickXP includes a full competitive layer built around your performance:

• Ranking Tiers (Bronze → Click God)

  • Fixed rating tiers (RANK_TIERS) define the thresholds for each rank, from Bronze up to Click God.

  • Helper logic calculates the target rating required to reach the next rank.

• Rating & Inactivity Decay

  • Every user starts at 1000 rating by default.

  • After a 3-day grace period with no activity, your rating will decay by 15 points per inactive day (never below 0).

  • Your rank name is automatically updated according to the new rating.

• Session Rating Calculation

  • Each session is normalized and decay is processed.

  • A weighted performance score is computed using:

    • clicks per minute (CPM)

    • peaks and bursts

    • consistency over time

    • percentile and general performance profile

  • This score is converted to a rating delta using RATING_K_FACTOR = 24, clamped between:

    • -12 (maximum loss)

    • +35 (maximum gain)

  • Sessions flagged as suspicious use a reduced K-factor and cannot increase rating (only stay the same or go down).

• Server-Side Anti-Cheat

  • sync() caps the number of clicks accepted per batch using a limit derived from MAX_CPS * BURST_FACTOR.

  • _evaluate_session_legitimacy() rejects or penalizes sessions with:

    • unrealistic session duration

    • excessively high average CPS

    • impossible peaks or bursts

    • too many clicks per minute

    • suspicious variance patterns.

  • Any session marked as suspicious is forced to a non-positive rating delta.

• Consistent Stats & Rankings

  • After each session, rating, rank name and next rank target are updated and stored.

  • Endpoints like user_stats() and /ranking/me apply inactivity decay before returning data, so the profile, stats and leaderboards are always in sync.

🌐 Website – Companion Dashboard & Account Management

ClickXP also has a companion website that works together with the desktop client.

Current web features:

• Account & Security

  • Account creation is handled on the website for security reasons.

  • Email verification via token to reduce bots and keep the experience fair.

  • Protection via Cloudflare and other safeguards.

• Profile Dashboard

  • Redesigned profile dashboard for better clarity and consistency with the app.

  • Options to change your email and password directly from the dashboard.

  • Global stats such as the total number of clicks performed by all registered users (updated periodically).

• Leaderboards Page

  • Dedicated Leaderboards page showing all available rankings.

  • Keeps data updated in (almost) real time, matching what you see inside the app.

• Extra Pages

  • Landing page, FAQ, donations and terms of use.

  • Links to social channels and community spaces.

🧪 Beta Status & What to Expect

ClickXP is in Beta, which means:

• Features may change, be rebalanced or moved.

• Bugs can still appear, especially around competitive logic and edge cases.

• Your feedback can directly shape how the app evolves.
