Like, I know I'm the author, and this is my book, but as a disabled person who relies on braces to keep my joints in place, it still hits me sometimes when I open up the files to do something, and I get to see a visibly disabled character on the cover of a romance novel. And the hearing aids are just so well done??? They stand out SO much, and it would have been such an easy thing to overlook or make into a vague squiggle, but they're immediately visible, and I love that. I love that SO much.

i truly do think that media piracy is an incredible feat of human compassion when you consider just how many opportunities to engage with art and develop their knowledge many people would otherwise be prevented from by factors such as financial stability and the social climate they live in. everyone should have the opportunity to experience art and learn, no matter what. i refuse to compromise on that.

"okay but wouldn't you be upset if you made something and everyone just took it for themselves for free and you never gained a thing from it" i would rather create for an audience that can experience my work without concern that it'll threaten their ability to survive in an economically hostile world than for only the people who can afford a ticket to the show, even if it means that it won't pay for the roof over my own head
