Oh damn 😭 I thought they were fixing that this time around? Someone on Twitter said that's why it was taking like over a year to restart is because they were re-working the stuff behind the scenes to make it fair

Nope. I am friends with multiple admins, all of whom have confirmed they have not been paid still. We talk about it every time Quackity baits everyone for engagement about "2," aka often.
It's taken so long because Quackity is intentionally waiting for the heat to die down and for people to naively conclude exactly that: that he tooootally righted all wrongs and everyone is being compensated.
No he did not, no he is not. The same admin team (or at least A LOT of it) no longer has anything to do with the studio, they have not been paid, Quackity is not in contact with them or making any effort to pay them. He has, as far as anyone knows, taken 0 action to fix anything and is banking on the passage of time to make people assume it took so long because he was doing that. He was not.
To this day ex admins still get harassed by Quackity fans for trying to make it more well-known he hasn't done anything. This is also why I will not identify which admins I am friends with.

Tell me about it. I've been told a bunch of behind the scenes stuff that I can't share publicly for privacy reasons (and to prevent a massive shitstorm), and... Yeah no. Please do not support QSMP 2 or Quackity. It's bad. The shit that was leaked publicly during the fallout was already bad. The shit I've been told in addition to that stuff? Every time "2" is brought up I feel like I'm boiling alive.
I really hoped he'd step up and fix things. He broke international labor laws. But I have had multiple ex admins confirm and regularly update me on the fact that he has not and clearly has no intention to. I will be genuinely stunned if he pays the "2" admins if "2" even happens for real.
And I hope to god that if he does miraculously pay new admins, the fandom will realize these will be a majority completely different and new admins, not the same ones from before (I'm 99.9% sure not a single egg admin is returning. I know for a fact at least 5 of them are not). If they get paid that's good. But that means the old ones still have not been and people need to care about that as much as they care about the new team being paid.
something something, as a bilingual, the perception of qsmp is definately different between eng/pt/fr and spanish community And this includes lot of cc's even Idk anything behind the scenes, but still I think things can be resolved Probably not the best way but at least late than ever?
