When deciding whether to become a Host on Airbnb in Italy, it is important for you to understand the laws in your region or city. You can host in the Basilicata region, through tourist rentals of any duration, without any specific obligations other than those already provided for by national legislation (check the Italy responsible hosting page for more information).
Please note that a tourist rental is different from extra-hotel facilities (ex: guest house, etc.) for which regional legislation provides several other obligations (ex: SCIA).
