On this page you will find more information on how to fulfill the regional requirements of the municipality of Sirmione, as well as additional specific requirements established by the municipality itself.

Structural requirements

The municipality of Sirmione required some specific structural requirements in order to allow guests with reduced physical or sensory capabilities to enjoy the tourist offer fully and independently. In particular, your accommodation must ensure:

• parking: you must ensure n. 1 parking space per housing unit with floor area less than or equal to 55 m2. If the floor area is more than 55 m2, you will have to ensure n. 2 parking spaces;
• viability: you must have a certificate of viability or the certified report of viability (segnalazione certificata di agibilità aka SCA) including declarations of conformity of technical systems (electrical, plumbing, gas, elevator, fire protection systems);
• visitability (only if you have more than three housing units): you must ensure access to the living or dining area, the toilet and its connecting paths. For example, from 1 to 3 units the requirement is not required, for 4 units if one is required, from 5 to 8 units two are required and so on.

Notification of commencement of activity

In order to rent your accommodation, you must electronically send the notification of commencement of activity to the Sportello Telematico Multifunzionale of the municipality of Sirmione. You can download it here, under "Forms to fill out and documents to attach" ("Moduli da compilare e documenti da allegare").

With the notification you must attach:

1. the floor plan of the premises (more information here) at a scale of no less than 1:100 with specific details for each room (ex: intended use, area, height, etc.)
2. a calculation model of accommodation capacity (available here)
3. a declaration of conformity certifying that the specific requirements on viability and parking are met
