The often unusual musings of an old cat
Hope it goes well for you all.
Sister is down and we're doing things light. We agreed to no present, but gave a little anyway. My Mother likes the TV series "Sullivan's Crossing" and I found the original books on which the show was based. She gave me the Ultimate No Fee Universal Gift Card: cash. For the most part we're more in need of purging stuff from the house than in bringing in new.
The turkey was cooked so well that I carved it with a fork, not the big ones, a dinner fork. Fall off the bones. Stuffing in the bird and the rest as dressing outside the bird. I got the gluten free loaves weeks ahead and bought the Christmas bird the same time I got the Thanksgiving bird, October for Canada. We still haven't sliced the cheese cake, but dinner must settle a bit first.
We're doing well. No fights. Still a few days to go in the visit, but it's looking good.
