We are an awesome group for all badgers, and are ready to maul, care less and slightly care about everything! :)

This group was done to gather all of us badgers into one point, to be badgers and awesome. Because we are awesome.

What's up with that name?
The word Sett is used to refer to any badger's den.
They are usually a complex of tunnels to gather the badgers and keep them safe.

While it would had been better to use "Den", the word was not...badger-y enough. So we decided to use Sett.
The name suggestion goes to illogical . :)

How can I join?
You can just watch the group, and add an icon or link to your profile stating your badgeriness (I'm making words up!)!

Can I join in if I'm a badger hybrid/one of my characters is a badger hybrid?
Sure you can! As long as it has badger blood, is welcome in the sett! :D

I'm not a badger, but I have a badger character/I support those Snarly Furry Carpets!
Then you can add our group icon as well if you want to!
The concept is that all badgers and badger-supporters are welcome, so no discrimination here.
You can show support by having the avatar of the group in your profile.

Can I submit art to the group?
While I would have no problem adding art into the account, it would not be mine and that always felt slightly itchy for some reason.
If you want to contribute art, tell us in the comments or notes and we will add it to favs! :)

Any thing we should take into account about badgers?
a. Badgers are part of the Mustelidae family, along with ferrets, wolverines, stoats, martens.
b. There are about 5 members of the badger family, though the most known are the European Badger (meles meles), Honey Badger (mellivora capensis) and American Badger (taxidea taxus)
c. There is a group of mustelids called "ferret-badgers". This beings usually are assigned their own subfamily, but they tend to be included in the badger listing.
d. European Badgers live in setts and in groups. They are the only badgers that do so.
e. European Badgers are the animal of the coat of arms of the House of Hufflepuff in Harry Potter.
f. There are many famous badgers in popular media, being Trufflehunter from Narnia, Mr. Badger from "Wind in the Willows" and Badger from "Animals of Farthing Wood" the most known.
