When Distraction Free Mode is enabled, I think it would make sense to display the left/right panels automatically (as on overlay) when I move the mouse cursor to the left or right side of the screen.
As I see it, the 2D/3D views are quite useless in Distraction Free Mode as the Inspector or Scene Tree aren't accessible at all.
2.
Rename the Distraction Free Mode to Zen Mode, and add a vastly more accessible shortcut for it: SHIFT + ALT + Z. This shortcut is not currently used for anything.
I have no idea what policy you have for changing existing shortcuts, but: even better, change the current script editor Word Wrap toggle shortcut (ALT + Z) for Zen / Distraction Free Mode.
ALT + W (unused) would make much more sense for toggling word wrapping.
