In 2016, I transitioned from retail and small business banking to the tech industry, starting at Skyline Technology Solutions as a help desk technician while learning from Codecademy and FreeCodeCamp. Shortly after, I joined the Internal Product team, focusing on software quality assurance with JavaScript. In late 2018, I completed a rigorous coding BootCamp, mastering Python (Flask, Django) and the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular 7, Node.js).
Post-graduation, I advanced to a junior software developer role at Skyline, working with PHP, JavaScript, Python, and Java. In 2020, I joined the Federal Government, where I’ve gained experience in software testing (Java, Selenium, JavaScript, Playwright), DevOps (OpenShift, Azure DevOps/Pipelines), and leading internal development projects as a Senior Software Engineer. My journey in software development has been both rewarding and exciting.
