Terraform templates to build the infrastructure for the royalty-payments system.

It basically consist in:

• A VPC: two private subnets, two public subnets and two availability zones.
• A load balancer between the public subnets.
• An ECS cluster where to host the ECS service.
• An ECS Service with a default of 2 tasks (each in a different availability zone for high availability pourposes) deployed in the private subnets.
• An ElasticCache (Redis) with 2 nodes (1 as a failover) between the private subnets.
• An ECR to store docker images.

To set up the project you need first to install: terraform.

This project uses the default AWS credentials (linked to an AWS account) of your AWS cli tool. If you dont have it installed follow this guide: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/es_es/cli/latest/userguide/cli-chap-install.html After that configure it properly following this guide: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest/userguide/cli-chap-configure.html

Follow this steps:

1. Initialize the project by executing:

terraform init

2. Run the infrastructre (review carefully all the resources that will be created):

terraform apply

Just execute this:

terraform destroy
