Create an AWS account. Create an IAM user and grant required permissions(e.g. AWSAdminAccess - not recommended). Go to the user → security credentials. Generate new Access & Secrets Keys for this user. Go to your desktop and create a new folder for your project. Cd into the folder and writing your HCL code. All files created in terraform must have the .tf extension.
