The codes in this repository are the source code used to implement an open-loop motor speed control of a Brushless DC Motor. This is the motor controller we designed and fabricated for Liwanag, the entry of the University of the Philippines for the Shell Eco-Marathon Asia 2016 under Urban Concept – Battery Electric Category

A robust, reliable, and efficient hardware and contorl scheme is required in an industry level motor controller for automotive applications to be able to cope up with internal combustion engine (ICE) counterparts.

The goal is to design and implement a motor controller for a 2KW Brushless DC Motor. This project implemented an open-loop speed control with current limiting feature based on the Trapezoidal Control Algorithm.
