A robust, reliable, and efficient hardware and contorl scheme is required in an industry level motor controller for automotive applications to be able to cope up with internal combustion engine (ICE) counterparts.
The goal is to design and implement a motor controller for a 2KW Brushless DC Motor. This project implemented an open-loop speed control with current limiting feature based on the Trapezoidal Control Algorithm.
