With the disabling of many packages, here is what you will lose:
- One-Handed Mode
- Easy Mode
- Wifi Calling
- VOLTE
- Samsung Account Backup
- Samsung Pay
- Knox (and any SDK dependant apps like BK Disabler)
- Double Tap for Camera will no longer work on lockscreen
- Software Updates (via OTA. Zips can still be flashed in recovery)
- ADB enabled in Developer Options on your device
- A 3rd-party keyboard installed (Gboard is recommended)
- FACTORY RESET HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. If you get bugs, factory reset.
- Navigate to this folder from Windows Explorer.
- Double-click
aospify.exe
. - Follow the interactive prompts.
- Open Terminal (Applicatons -> Utilities -> Terminal)
- Type
cd
(WITH the extra space), then go to Finder and drag this folder into the Terminal window. - Press Enter.
- Type
./aospify
and press enter. - Follow the interactive prompts.
- Open a terminal of your choice. (you're using Linux, so you should know that at least)
- Navigate to this folder in the terminal.
- Type
./aospify
and press enter. - Follow the interactive prompts.
- Grant the Phone app all permissions it asks for.
- Set your default launcher.
- Reinstall the Google apps you want, such as Contacts, Messages, Files GO, Calendar, Calculator, Clock, Inbox/Gmail, and Google Photos.
- Make sure calls and SMS work (sending and receiving).
- For a better looking AOD, set your clock faces (for both lock and AOD) to the single line clock.
- Disable VOLTE under Settings (or else you will be unable to answer some calls)
- A factory reset is REQUIRED to return to factory.
