Given the popularity of the Catppuccin colorscheme, I believe it would be cool to add it the default themes.

This is a 2nd attempt of #3737 (I screwed up)

@catppuccin
https://github.com/catppuccin:
Since the license of https://github.com/catppuccin/micro is MIT too, there doesn't seem to be conflict from license perspective. What do think about of a direct integration into micro, especially when it comes to further maintenance?

I don’t think micro should keep adding more colorschemes (I like these more than most of the "official" colorschemes, thanks). Maybe a solution is to have a discussion thread where people can post colorschemes that they have found or made (with screenshots), so it’s all centralized and avoids maintaining a separate repo and adding more colorschemes to the binary.

I also get bored of colorschemes rapidly, but there are not many to choose from. From time to time, I search for "micro dotfiles" to see what people use 😂.

I also agree the main stream can't have tons of colorschemes, but if the decision is to include some by default, let’s include the most used ones, right? Of course, there’s gotta be a limit, and I think a reasonable one is: if there is room for CaptainMcClellan's personal color scheme, there is for Catppuccin as well 😆 .

Why not a plugin? Same logic here. if there's an official plugin for nordcolors, wouldn't it be reasonable to have one with multiple colorschemes?

I will not be the one defending CaptainMcClellan's personal color scheme 😂, but you get my point.

The official plugin situation is complicated, haha, but there is an unofficial repo, so you can create the Catppuccin plugin if you want.

I provide a custom color scheme in my plugins, but for other reasons:

I think using a discussion thread for that matter is the best ROI.

I was more leaned into a "themes plugin" with multiple themes that people could PR into (with requirements). Still, the official plugins being stalled like they are now feels awkward, and it gives off vibes of a dead project, maybe I'm missing something tho.

It think it wouldn't be as user friendly as what I propose but probably is the best ROI.
