Hellgate: London is a singleplayer and multiplayer first-person and third-person action, shooter, open world and RPG game in the Hellgate series.
Multiplayer servers were shutdown on February 1, 2009.
General information
Availability
Demo
- A free singleplayer demo in English can be downloaded from GamePressure or 4Players.
Version differences
- The Steam version is singleplayer only (and incompatible with the London 2038 community server). A full list of differences between the original release and the Steam version can be found here.
- The Steam version does not include 64-bit executable or DirectX 10 support.
Essential improvements
- The latest singleplayer patch for the retail version is v1.2, with international version available from ModDB and the Asian one available from Patches-Scrolls.

Issues unresolved
1 FPS bug
- The game's framerate can often fall down to 1 FPS. This is a game engine bug and can not be fixed by using stronger hardware.[1]
