Issues unresolved
Very loud blizzard sound effect
- PC port suffers from poorly balanced blizzard sound effect, which drowns out other sound effects and dialogues.[5]
- Currently, there's no way to fix that.
Missing fog effects
- Original Xbox version featured dense fog effect in some areas. That effect is not present in the PC port.[6]
Issues fixed
Sped up or high pitch character voices
Use -relax_audio_cap command line argument[7]
|
|---|
Camera glitches through the floor/walls
| Limit the in-game framerate to 60 FPS[8] |

Notes
- ↑ Version 3.0 of StarForce DRM does not work on Windows Vista or later.[1][2][3][4] For supported versions of Windows the StarForce driver may need to be updated manually using SFUPDATE.
- ↑ 2.0 2.1 Notes regarding Steam Play (Linux) data:
- File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data.
- Games with Steam Cloud support may also store data in
~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/233350/. - Use Wine's registry editor to access any Windows registry paths.
- The app ID (233350) may differ in some cases.
- Treat backslashes as forward slashes.
- See the glossary page for details on Windows data paths.
