Template:Introduction/oneliner

From PCGamingWiki, the wiki about fixing PC games
Documentation for the above template (sometimes hidden from view).

This template is responsible for the auto-generated sentence/one-liner that describes the game based on the information provided elsewhere on the page.

It is provided in this form to allow a more flexible handling of the introduction section of a page, where if the one-liner is already good enough it might not be desirable to rewrite it manually or remove it outright when adding other information in the |introduction= parameter. The template also supports an optional |end= parameter that controls how the generated sentence should end (e.g. in a comma instead of a period), as well as a |title= parameter to override the otherwise default name used: {{SUBPAGENAME}}.

Usage
{{Introduction/oneliner}}
Arguments
  • 1= or end= - Custom end to the generated sentence, other than the normal .
  • title= - Custom name to use as part of the sentence, instead of the default {{SUBPAGENAME}}.
