DSTK - DataScience ToolKit is an opensource free software for statistical analysis, data visualization, text analysis, and predictive analytics. Newer version and smaller file size can be found at: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dstk3/ It is designed to be straight forward and easy to use, and familar to SPSS user. While JASP offers more statistical features, DSTK tends to be a broad solution workbench, including text analysis and predictive analytics features. Of course you may specify JASP for advanced data editing and RapidMiner for advanced prediction modeling. DSTK is written in C#, Java and Python to interface with R, NLTK, and Weka. It can be expanded with plugins using R Scripts. We have also created plugins for more statistical functions, and Big Data Analytics with Microsoft Azure HDInsights (Spark Server) with Livy. A university project - A document clustering software for an audit client with additional features. The main task of clustering takes documents in a directory as an input and outputs an Excel spreadsheet displaying clusters of documents, with each cluster containing documents that are similar to each other. The search features take search terms as input by the user and a directory with documents as an input and outputs an Excel spreadsheet displaying all documents containing the search term and gives similar documents to these. The 2nd feature gives each sentence containing the search term from documents found. The report generation feature specifically for use by audit companies takes an audit report as an input and outputs an insight log and draft management letter with insights pulled from the report. This feature can be customised to suit a company's requirements. This software works with pdf, docx, txt and csv files and the zip file must be saved in "My Documents".

So far, only the tools, and only a data replication tool, Optimal Sync, has been released (available from the "files" page). But more is coming. It incorporates many different open source projects that relates to interoperability, transformation, context and process control. It has no business engine, instead it generates Python code and leaves the engine mechanics to its scripting engine. This enables it to: * be very flexible * be truly multi-platform * draw from all the features available to the language and its sprawling ecosystem * partake in that ecosystem as a library.
