Open Source C# Compilers for Mac

ILSpy is the open-source .NET assembly browser and decompiler. Visual Studio 2022 ships with decompilation support for F12 enabled by default (using our engine v7.1). In Visual Studio 2019, you have to manually enable F12 support. Go to Tools / Options / Text Editor / C# / Advanced and check Enable navigation to decompiled source. C# for Visual Studio Code ships with decompilation support as well. To enable, activate the setting "Enable Decompilation Support. ILSpy is distributed under the MIT License. Please see the About doc for details, as well as third-party notices for included open-source libraries. Visual Studio 16.3 and later include a version of the .NET (Core) SDK that is managed by the Visual Studio installer - once you update, it may get upgraded too. Please note that ILSpy is only compatible with the .NET 6.0 SDK and Visual Studio will refuse to load some projects in the solution.

Reko (Swedish: "decent, obliging") is a decompiler for machine code binaries. This project is freely available under the GNU General Public License. The project consists of front ends, core decompiler engine, and back ends to help it achieve its goals. A command line, a Windows GUI, and a ASP.NET front end exist at the time of writing. The decompiler engine receives inputs from the front ends in the form of either individual executable files or decompiler project files. Reko project files contain additional information about a binary file, helpful to the decompilation process or for formatting the output. The decompiler engine then proceeds to analyze the input binary. Reko has the ambition of supporting decompilation of various processor architectures and executable file formats with minimal user intervention. For a complete list, see the supported binaries page.

SMC takes a state machine stored in a .sm file and generates a State pattern in 14 programming languages. Includes: default transitions, transition args, transition guards, push/pop transitions and Entry/Exit actions. See User Manual for more info.

IKVM.NET is a JVM for the Microsoft .NET Framework and Mono. It can both dynamically run Java classes and can be used to convert Java jars into .NET assemblies. It also includes a port of the OpenJDK class libraries to .NET.

This is a cross-platform version of ILSpy built with Avalonia. Search for types/methods/properties (substring). Hyperlink-based type/method/property navigation. The Roslyn folder contains (modified) source from Roslyn The XSharp folder contains our own source for the compiler, documentation and other components. For the build process of the compiler we create our own "specialized" version of the CSharp Compiler. The source for this compiler and codeanalysis.dll is in the Tools folder. This compiler will translate some of the Roslyn Namespaces from CSharp into XSharp to prevent name conflicts when assemblies of both origins are in memory at the same time. Make sure you have VS 2019 or 2017 installed. The preferred edition is Enterprise. Make sure you have Java JDK on your machine and that you have the Java binaries folder in your Path. If you do not have Vs 2019 Enterprise you can set 2 environment variables to the VS version and edition you have installed.

Dyalect is a dynamic programming language for .NET Core platform. It is lightweight, fast and modern. Dyalect (or Dy for short) is written in C# and has zero dependencies except for standard .NET Core libraries, which means that it can seamlessly run on Windows, MacOS and Linux. AppM Build Automaiton is an open source and automated software application that is used to construct and build projects on different operating systems and using different development environments. General principles of implementation: -Each project must have a Build Project File, containing the necessary information on the construction of the project. For example, a unique name of the project, dependence on other projects and libraries, methods of construction, etc. Thus, the entire repository should be marked by the project description files to provide unambiguous information on the projects and their dependencies. - AppM Build Automaiton must be able to perform different actions (project construction, external applications launch, file copying, etc.) which are needed to build a -product. - All operations with projects should be carried out on the basis of information that build tool derives from the project description files.

Biddlebaddleboo Programming Language is a simple programming language that is more user friendly. Type "help" in the command prompt to view commands. You can download scripts by going to files, then scripts, then download which ever script you want to use and then you can execute it. You can upload your own scripts into that directory too. There is even a GUI and you can also launch files with it. This programming language has it's own file format which cannot be read with notepad.
