A disassembler for the linux platform. Currently this supports x86 ELF files assumed to be written in C and output to intel- syntax assembly language; however the design is modular and replacements for any of these can be written.

Cython is an optimizing static compiler for both the Python programming language and the extended Cython programming language (based on Pyrex). It makes writing C extensions for Python as easy as Python itself. Write Python code that calls back and forth from and to C or C++ code natively at any point. Easily tune readable Python code into plain C performance by adding static type declarations, also in Python syntax. Use combined source code level debugging to find bugs in your Python, Cython, and C code. Interact efficiently with large data sets, e.g. using multi-dimensional NumPy arrays. Quickly build your applications within the large, mature, and widely used CPython ecosystem. Integrate natively with existing code and data from legacy, low-level or high-performance libraries and applications. The Cython language is a superset of the Python language that additionally supports calling C functions and declaring C types on variables and class attributes.

SMC takes a state machine stored in a .sm file and generates a State pattern in 14 programming languages. Includes: default transitions, transition args, transition guards, push/pop transitions and Entry/Exit actions. See User Manual for more info.

PyInstaller is a program that converts (packages) Python programs into stand-alone executables, under Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, AIX and Solaris. Its main advantages over similar tools are that PyInstaller works with any version of Python since 2.3, it builds smaller executables thanks to transparent compression, it is fully multi-platform, and uses the OS support to load the dynamic libraries, thus ensuring full compatibility. The main goal of PyInstaller is to be compatible with 3rd-party packages out-of-the-box. This means that, with PyInstaller, all the required tricks to make external packages work are already integrated within PyInstaller itself so that there is no user intervention required. You'll never be required to look for tricks in wikis and apply custom modification to your files or your setup scripts. As an example, libraries like PyQt, Django or matplotlib are fully supported, without having to handle plugins or external data files manually.

The contents of the pyz file (usually pyc files) present inside the executable are also extracted. The pyc files are made valid so that a python bytecode decompiler will recognise it. Script can run on both python 2.x and 3.x Pyinstaller versions 2.0, 2.1, 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2 are supported

Numba is an open source JIT compiler that translates a subset of Python and NumPy code into fast machine code. Numba translates Python functions to optimized machine code at runtime using the industry-standard LLVM compiler library. Numba-compiled numerical algorithms in Python can approach the speeds of C or FORTRAN. You don't need to replace the Python interpreter, run a separate compilation step, or even have a C/C++ compiler installed. Just apply one of the Numba decorators to your Python function, and Numba does the rest. Numba is designed to be used with NumPy arrays and functions. Numba generates specialized code for different array data types and layouts to optimize performance. Special decorators can create universal functions that broadcast over NumPy arrays just like NumPy functions do. Numba also works great with Jupyter notebooks for interactive computing, and with distributed execution frameworks, like Dask and Spark.

Hy is a multi-paradigm general-purpose programming language in the Lisp family. It’s implemented as a kind of alternative syntax for Python. Compared to Python, Hy offers a variety of extra features, generalizations, and syntactic simplifications, as would be expected of a Lisp. Compared to other Lisps, Hy provides direct access to Python’s built-ins and third-party Python libraries, while allowing you to freely mix imperative, functional, and object-oriented styles of programming. The first thing a Python programmer will notice about Hy is that it has Lisp’s traditional parenthesis-heavy prefix syntax in place of Python’s C-like infix syntax. As in other Lisps, the value of a simplistic syntax is that it facilitates Lisp’s signature feature, metaprogramming through macros, which are functions that manipulate code objects at compile-time to produce new code objects, which are then executed as if they had been part of the original code.
