Eclipse Verilog editor is a plugin for the Eclipse IDE. It provides Verilog(IEEE-1364) and VHDL language specific code viewer, contents outline, code assist etc. It helps coding and debugging in hardware development based on Verilog or VHDL.

Modelio-Open is a project hosting a set of open source extensions (SoaML, SysML and UML Testing Profile) for a previous version (1.2) of the Modelio Free tool . Currently, the lastest version (2.x) of Modelio modeling and generation tool is available at http://modelio.org/downloads/download-modelio.html. All extensions are downloadable at http://forge.modelio.org/projects.

HDLObf is intended to be a HDL Obfuscator and identifier name change utility. Primarily designed for Verilog/SystemVerilog support will be added for VHDL/SystemC in future.

JSDAI is a toolkit for STEP (ISO 10303), the STandard for the Exchange of Product Model data, that enables linking of CAD, CAM, PDM, PLM, CAx systems. JSDAI supports the development of Express data models (ISO 10303-11) and their implementation in Java.

ODog

This project aims at providing Open Source tools for the development and the verification of SystemC/TLM (Transaction Level Modeling) IP models, and at promoting their use by embedded software developers on SoC (System-On-Chip).

The PARSEC CEE is the primary achievement of several years of effort at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. The CEE was developed to allow engineers in the Advanced Concepts Department to rapidly prototype launch vehicle and spacecraft concepts.

PHDL is an HDL that functions as an alternative to mainstream graphical schematic capture tools. The language is compiled into a pcb netlist which can then be imported into a layout tool. We are currently on version 2.1 of the tool. We have created an eclipse plugin version of the tool as well as a standalone command-line based version. Both function identically and output a netlist that can be imported into a pcb layout tool. VHDL revolutionized how FPGA designs and digital logic circuits have been designed and captured and overcame many of the difficulties associated with the use of schematic editing tools. We believe the use of an HDL is also the way of the future when it comes to PCB design. The PHDL compiler automatically supports the output of PADS and Eagle netlists, and through extending a simple java class, users can generate a netlist in practically any format required by their choice of a layout tool.

SymtaP is a performance analysis tool to determine the worst case execution time for embedded real time applications.

GNU PIC LIBRARY PROJECT The interest of this project is to develop a set of Libraries that are released in LGPL License to use to PIC microcontroler programming. Then any program resulted by this use would be a proprietary or free softwares.

mCon aims to be platform independent, complete IDE for micro controller development. The project will use Eclipse as its foundation and the initial goal is to support development for the microchip PIC microcontrollers.

mcuStudio is a development environment for Microcontrollers. It's based on Eclipse (plugin). The aim is to provide a high quality development environment for electronics. First editions will target Microchip Pic mcu's. Other mcu will be supported later.

vMAGIC is a Java-API which helps creating VHDL generators and analyzers. vMAGIC comprises three parts: 1st a VHDL'93 compliant parser, 2nd a programming model to easily create and modify VHDL constructs, and 3rd a VHDL Writer to generate code.
