This is an add-on to stow. If the "make install" didn't work with DESTDIR argument(or use another installer), stow-jail would close the installer command to the sandbox(unionfs+chroot),in this way all go to the "/stow/package_name" directory.

It is a Uruguayan Linux distribution. Can be used from floppy disks, cdroom or you can install it in your hard disk. It has been designed to be fast and effective without leaving of side the graphical aspect for the user.

Locates files on your computer or network. Like locate on steroids. Indexes not only all the files in your filesystems, but also those inside archives, filesystem images, and disk images as well. NOTE: For full functionality (reading partitions inside disk images, for example), the project "procb" is also required. NOTE: command line syntax and parameters have changed in newer versions significantly, to incorporate easy searches and easier database (flat file) creation.

Multiple Remote SHell Management On Demand aids in the management of multiple systems via SSH and shared keys. In its simplest form one can run one script on multiple systems returning and logging stdout and stderr for each system on demand.

SmartDupe is bash script which replaces file Duplicates in a given path by Hard links to free space on your Hard Drive.

Script sorts Files by Filetype in to a destination dircetory. Very use full after using photorec for recupling files.

Arpm is a handy tool for managing rpm packages on RedHat-based systems. Requires yum installed.

Short command to mount a hot-plugged filesystem on a predetermined place and way. By issuing m on command line it mounts or unmounts a preset device, presumably an USB flash drive or disk. The idea is to have a short command toggle the device from not mounted to mounted and the other way around. Sort of like a classical ball pen.

A small utility that allows to recover accidentally removed files as long as they are still open. The "removed" file will be restored consistently - even if it's under heavy I/O - by re-creating the link to the file's i-node in the filesystem.

tokman is an interactive command which can manage projects directory archives on a removable media by writing a tokenring file for each project. A tokenring file contains the computer on which the project archive was extracted last.
