GeographicLib is a small C++ library for: geodesic and rhumb line calculations; conversions between geographic, UTM, UPS, MGRS, geocentric, and local cartesian coordinates; gravity (e.g., EGM2008) and geomagnetic field (e.g., WMM2020) calculations.

The Orbit Determination Toolbox (ODTBX) is developed by the Navigation & Mission Design branch at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as an advanced mission simulation and analysis tool used for concept exploration, proposal, early design phase, and/or rapid design center environments. ODTBX functions and utilities are combined in a flexible architecture that allows for modular development of navigation algorithms and simulations. The core ODTBX functionality is realized through a set of estimation commands that incorporate Monte Carlo data simulation, linear covariance analysis, and measurement processing at a generic level.

The EPC software calculates velocities for any points located on the earth’s surface given the Euler pole parameters and estimates the Euler pole parameters given the observed velocities of a set of sites located on a tectonic plate. Since version 2, the software is able to estimate or apply the Plate Translation Rates, as well. OpenPMU is a collaborative project developing a software defined Phasor Measurement Unit for Smart Grids and electrical utilities. This project is currently hosted by Queen’s University Belfast.

The purpose of the software is to calculate the undulation between the WGS84 ellipsoid (GPS height) and the EGM96 geoid (mean sea level) in MATLAB, based on the C code in the "egm96-f477.c" project

This project helps to digitize field data for a certain Bird Census method. Namely, bird census based on personal inspection or small (~10 km^2) regions with recording birds' position and behaviour on paper. This project makes it easy to annotate such field data and to make this data available for statistical analysis.

This project hosts the code and the documents which were created by Francesco Montorsi during his PhD at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy, about indoor and outdoor localization and navigation techniques. The code (mostly MATLAB code) is publicly available to enable reproducible research.

Global Land Use and technological Evolution Simulator.

GPS Date Converter (GDC) is a program to convert six different date formats, including: (1) Decimal year, (2) Year, Month, Day, (3) Year, Day of year, (4) GPS Week, Day of week, (5) Julian date, and (6) Modified Julian date. These formats are quiet common in Earth Sciences, specially GPS applications. More information can be found in the GDC website.

Along with calculating basic statistics and quality parameters such as mean and variance, the soft-ware is capable of importing and visualizing different standard time series formats, determining and removing jumps and outliers, and makes numerical and publication quality graphical outputs. Bivariate statistical analysis (including correlation coefficient and linear regression) and time series analysis (including auto and cross-spectral analysis, wavelet power spectrum, spectrogram and periodicities) form the main analysis features of the software.

The Matlab SRTM Library is designed to be an easy-to-use interface for importing and manipulating NASA's Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) Digital Elevation Model (DEM) dataset.

The STIanafor is a tool for spatio-temporal data vizualization, analysis and forecast of incidence of sexually-transmitted diseases and drug resistance of pathogens in the Russian Federation. Currently supports gonorrhoea (N. gonorrhoeae) and syphilis (T. pallidum). A set of real data for testing is provided.

The SELENA and RISe software tools are two packages to assist in computing earthquake damage scenarios. The damage probability for any specific structure follows the computation principles of HAZUS.
