Open Source Python Operating System Kernels

KaeilOS is an embedded linux GNU/GPL distribution composed of a collection of the best publicly available Open Source packages. Version 4.00 available since January 2009 has joined OpenEmbedded project offering a wider selection of packages and recipes.

U M I, pronounce "ou" "ème" "aie" to an approach of "you & I" expression, is meant to be a derivative of Ubuntu, a Linux distribution. U M I is a system that wants generalist, simple and tailored to your needs. M I perhaps as "Maths Infos", "Mission Impossible", "Micro Imagination", "Museum Incarnation", ..., "Mandela Ideologie", ...,"Magne Isapèt" :), ... ; but in reality M I for "Me Inside", inside Linux, inside Debian, inside Ubuntu. This project designates all logistics associated developments. The goal is to promote the development of secure and robust software combining beauty and elegance for Linux platforms .

LinuxTLE(Linux Talay) is the legendary Thailand Linux Distribution lost technology from NECTEC. Now, reborn out of demise, LinuxTLE has finally build the 11.0 version code named "Cha-Am" revived the dead project by the mysterious successor. Shifted from GNOME2 into Mate Desktop which supported both Thai & English languages. LinuxTLE 11.0 currently based from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. There will be also Debian 9.0 based build soon. "Talay(ทะเล)" means "The Sea" pronounced in Thai languages. FreeOS/1 is a Free, Open Source, FreeDOS based Free and Open Source Alternative OS, with open source Microsoft Windows compatibility using HXDOSExtender KernelEx,and ReactOS source code. FreeOS/1 will include new technologies and will be easy to use

Contains a framework for Coldfire MCUs like 52254. The framework supports a Command Line Interface (CLI) that may work from Serial port, USB or ENET. The framework uses Processor Expert and IDE requirement is MCU Eclipse 10.4 from Freescale. Includes the FunkOS Realtime Operating System by Funkenstein Software Consulting, available at http://funkos.sourceforge.net Mainly it is a support package for the development board Perseus, but I have ported also the RTOS to MCF52233DEMO board. A microkernel operating system distribution offering (among other things) very low hardware requirements, full and easy portability and easy-readable source code.

rtusd is a foundation set of real time enabled User Space Devices/Drivers designed to link to HRT high resolution Timer controlled POSIX threads and link re-factored Linux hdw drivers for 2.6.18+. rtusd propogates Linux RT to user space generically.

This is the fifth or sixth generation of this idea, the big difference being that we have written some bootloader code and have started mapping out the kernel layout and structure. We have decided upon a core programming language for the kernel, and the core language for almost everything else. With a focus on isolating the MAJOR kernel features from the system itself, in what until now has remained research only instances, we hope to create a fully functioning exokerne. All code at this time will be available only via a git repository.

Tynix is a real-time kernel for embedded systems with reduced memory availability (without external memory). The project intends to be very small, portable for a large amount of platforms and easily configurable.

vesper(Virtual Embraced Space ProbER) offers framework to monitor status of guests on various virtual machine environments, by injecting kernel modules from host to other guest domains.
