XMLUnit 2.x Development Moved to GitHub XMLUnit provides help with testing code that creates or consumes XML. XMLUNit 2.x is available for both Java and .NET with a similar API. Development of this version has moved to a GitHub organization[1] with two git repositories for Java and .NET respectively. All discussion about XMLUnit independent of any version will happen on the XMLUnit general mailing list[2]. XMLUnit for Java 1.x is no longer maintained, please use the legacy artifacts of XMLUnit 2.x if you still need APIs compatible with XMLUnit 1.x. We keep using the Sourceforge infrastructure that has served as well for many years to host forums and mailing lists. XMLUnit for .NET 0.x is not maintained any longer. Addressing the question for variable variables in python (i.e. variables with variable names), which has been posed on stackoverflow: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1373164/how-do-i-do-variable-variables-in-python The consensus is to use a dictionary for this. This is a good idead, however, there are many aspects arising from this: * you'll yourself be responsible for this dictionary, including garbage collection (of in-dict variables) etc. * there's no locality for variable variables, all are global within the dictionary, unless you locally define different dictionaries for this purpose * you are more flexible, e.g. you can decide to overwrite existing variables or, alternatively, to raise an exception on overwriting (e.g. for const variables) * if you want to rename a variable name, you'll have to do it manually * ...
