    PyInstaller

    PyInstaller

Freeze (package) Python programs into stand-alone executables

PyInstaller freezes (packages) Python applications into stand-alone executables, under Windows, GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, FreeBSD, Solaris and AIX. PyInstaller’s main advantages over similar tools are that PyInstaller works with Python 3.5 to 3.9, it builds smaller executables thanks to transparent compression, it is fully multi-platform, and use the OS support to load the dynamic libraries, thus ensuring full compatibility. The main goal of PyInstaller is to be compatible with 3rd-party packages out-of-the-box. This means that, with PyInstaller, all the required tricks to make external packages work are already integrated within PyInstaller itself so that there is no user intervention required. You’ll never be required to look for tricks in wikis and apply custom modification to your files or your setup scripts. As an example, libraries like PyQt, Django or matplotlib are fully supported, without having to handle plugins or external data files manually.

    SQLiteStudio

    SQLiteStudio

A free, open source, multi-platform SQLite database manager

A free, open-source, multi-platform SQLite database manager written in C++, with use of Qt framework. It's free of charge for everybody, for any purpose (including commercial). It's safe, as anyone can review the source code. The SQL Editor window assists users with SQL syntax hints & highlighting, provides pretty-print code formatter, and marks syntax errors. You can Ctrl+click on the table mentioned in the SQL query to open that table (or index, or trigger, or view). Currently supported encrypted, password-protected SQLite variations are SQLCipher, WxSQLite3, and System.Data.SQLite. You can execute SQL statements that refer to multiple databases within a single query, thanks to a transparent database attaching mechanism built into the SQL Editor of SQLiteStudio. You can implement your own SQL functions (scalar & aggregate) using JavaScript, Python, or Tcl. There is a repository of ready-to-use scripts on the wiki page.

    DB Browser for SQLite

    The DB Browser for SQLite

DB Browser for SQLite (DB4S) is a high quality, visual, open source tool to create, design, and edit database files compatible with SQLite. DB4S is for users and developers who want to create, search, and edit databases. DB4S uses a familiar spreadsheet-like interface, and complicated SQL commands do not have to be learned. This program is not a visual shell for the sqlite command line tool, and does not require familiarity with SQL commands. It is a tool to be used by both developers and end users, and must remain as simple to use as possible in order to achieve these goals. Import and export records as text, import and export tables from/to CSV files, import and export databases from/to SQL dump files, issue SQL queries and inspect the results, examine a log of all SQL commands issued by the application, plot simple graphs based on table or query data.

    linuxdeployqt

    linuxdeployqt

Makes Linux applications self-contained by copying in the libraries

Makes Linux applications self-contained by copying in the libraries and plugins that the application uses, and optionally generates an AppImage. Can be used for Qt and other applications. This Linux Deployment Tool, linuxdeployqt, takes an application as input and makes it self-contained by copying in the resources that the application uses (like libraries, graphics, and plugins) into a bundle. The resulting bundle can be distributed as an AppDir or as an AppImage to users, or can be put into cross-distribution packages. It can be used as part of the build process to deploy applications written in C, C++, and other compiled languages with systems like CMake, qmake, and make. When used on Qt-based applications, it can bundle a specific minimal subset of Qt required to run the application. This tool is conceptually based on the Mac Deployment Tool, macdeployqt in the tools applications of the Qt Toolkit, but has been changed to a slightly different logic.

    MAME

    MAME

MAME is a multi-purpose emulation framework

MAME's purpose is to preserve decades of software history. As electronic technology continues to rush forward, MAME prevents this important "vintage" software from being lost and forgotten. This is achieved by documenting the hardware and how it functions. The source code to MAME serves as this documentation. The fact that the software is usable serves primarily to validate the accuracy of the documentation (how else can you prove that you have recreated the hardware faithfully?). Over time, MAME (originally stood for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) absorbed the sister-project MESS (Multi Emulator Super System), so MAME now documents a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles and calculators, in addition to the arcade video games that were its initial focus. The MAME project as a whole is distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License, 2 (GPL-2.0), since it contains code made available under multiple GPL-compatible licenses.

    dirsearch

    dirsearch

    Web path scanner

An advanced command-line tool designed to brute force directories and files in webservers, AKA web path scanner. Wordlist is a text file, each line is a path. About extensions, unlike other tools, dirsearch only replaces the %EXT% keyword with extensions from -e flag. For wordlists without %EXT% (like SecLists), -f | --force-extensions switch is required to append extensions to every word in wordlist, as well as the /. To use multiple wordlists, you can separate your wordlists with commas. Example: wordlist1.txt,wordlist2.txt. Default values for dirsearch flags can be edited in the configuration file: default.conf. The thread number (-t | --threads) reflects the number of separated brute force processes. And so the bigger the thread number is, the faster dirsearch runs. By default, the number of threads is 30, but you can increase it if you want to speed up the progress.

    checkstyle

    checkstyle

Development tool to help programmers write standard Java code

Checkstyle is a development tool to help programmers write Java code that adheres to a coding standard. It automates the process of checking Java code to spare humans of this boring (but important) task. This makes it ideal for projects that want to enforce a coding standard. Checkstyle is highly configurable and can be made to support almost any coding standard. An example configuration files are supplied supporting the Sun Code Conventions, Google Java Style. Checkstyle can check many aspects of your source code. It can find class design problems, method design problems. It also has the ability to check code layout and formatting issues. Since Checkstyle 7, some users have been unable to continue upgrading to newer versions of the utility because of the new JDK 1.8 compile requirement. The development team doesn't have the resources to keep updating the utility for older JDKs for those that can't work with the latest version.

    OCaml

    OCaml

The core OCaml system: compilers, runtime system, base libraries

OCaml is a general-purpose, industrial-strength programming language with an emphasis on expressiveness and safety. OCaml’s powerful type system means more bugs are caught at compile-time, and large, complex codebases are easier to maintain. This makes it a good language for running critical code. At the same time, sophisticated inference makes the type system unobtrusive, creating a smooth developer experience. OCaml has two compilers. One is a bytecode compiler that generates small, portable executables and is very fast. The other is a native code compiler that produces more efficient machine code; its performance matches the highest standards of modern compilers. OCaml has great support for the most popular editors. VS Code is recommended for beginners, and for power users there is deep integration with Vim and Emacs. OCaml has a rich and dynamic community and best-in-class tooling.

    ThetaGang

    ThetaGang

ThetaGang is an IBKR bot for collecting money

ThetaGang is an IBKR trading bot for collecting premiums by selling options using "The Wheel" strategy. The Wheel is a strategy that surfaced on Reddit but has been used by many in the past. This bot implements a slightly modified version of The Wheel, with my own personal tweaks. The strategy, as implemented here, does a few things differently from the one described in the post above. For one, it's intended to be used to augment a typical index-fund-based portfolio with specific asset allocations. For example, you might want to use a 60/40 portfolio with SPY (S&P500 fund) and TLT (20-year treasury fund). This strategy reduces risk, but may also limit gains from big market swings. By reducing risk, one can increase leverage. ThetaGang will try to acquire your desired allocation of each stock or ETF according to the weights you specify in the config. To acquire the positions, the script will write puts when conditions are met.
