VSCodium
binary releases of VS Code without MS branding/telemetry/licensing
Microsoft’s vscode source code is open source (MIT-licensed), but the product available for download (Visual Studio Code) is licensed under this not-FLOSS license and contains telemetry/tracking. The VSCodium project exists so that you don’t have to download+build from source. This project includes special build scripts that clone Microsoft’s vscode repo, run the build commands, and upload the resulting binaries for you to GitHub releases. These binaries are licensed under the MIT license. Telemetry is disabled. If you want to build from source yourself, head over to Microsoft’s vscode repo and follow their instructions. VSCodium exists to make it easier to get the latest version of MIT-licensed VSCode. Please note that some Visual Studio Code extensions have licenses that restrict their use to the official Visual Studio Code builds and therefore do not work with VSCodium. -

A color and B&W emoji SVGinOT font built from EmojiOne artwork with support for ZWJ, skin tone diversity and country flags. The font works in all operating systems, but will currently only show color emoji in Firefox, Thunderbird, Photoshop CC 2017, and Windows Edge V38.14393+. This is not a limitation of the font, but of the operating systems and applications. Regular B&W outline emoji are included for backward/fallback compatibility. SVG in Open Type is a standard by Adobe and Mozilla for color OpenType and Open Font Format fonts. There is a venv module available for CPython 3.3 and newer. It provides an executable module venv which is the successor of virtualenv and distributed by default. This tool is designed to help you use git more efficiently. It's lightweight and easy to use. Fig adds apps, shortcuts, and autocomplete to your existing terminal. Options can be set via environment variables. They have to be exported in order to be recognized by forgit. You can use forgit as a subcommand of git by making git-forgit available in $PATH. Forgit will use the default configured pager from git (core.pager, pager.show, pager.diff) but can be altered with several environment variables. You can add default fzf options for forgit, including keybinds, layout, etc. (No need to repeat the options already defined. -

Automatically Commit changed Files back to GitHub with GitHub Actions for the 80% use case. A GitHub Action to detect changed files during a Workflow run and to commit and push them back to the GitHub repository. By default, the commit is made in the name of "GitHub Actions" and co-authored by the user that made the last commit. Note that the Action has to be used in a Job that runs on a UNIX system (e.g. ubuntu-latest). If you don't use the default permission of the GITHUB_TOKEN, give the Job or Workflow at least the contents: write permission. The goal of this Action is to be "the Action for committing files for the 80% use case". Therefore, you might run into issues if your Workflow falls into the not supported 20% portion. If your Workflow can't push the commit to the repository because of authentication issues, please update your Workflow configuration. -

Bats is a TAP-compliant testing framework for Bash. It provides a simple way to verify that the UNIX programs you write behave as expected. A Bats test file is a Bash script with special syntax for defining test cases. Under the hood, each test case is just a function with a description. Bats is most useful when testing software is written in Bash, but you can use it to test any UNIX program. Test cases consist of standard shell commands. Bats makes use of Bash's errexit (set -e) option when running test cases. If every command in the test case exits with a 0 status code (success), the test passes. In this way, each line is an assertion of truth. The Bats source code repository is hosted on GitHub. There you can file bugs on the issue tracker or submit tested pull requests for review. -

Easy building and installing of Erlang/OTP instances. Kerl aims to be shell agnostic and its only dependencies, excluding what's required to actually build Erlang/OTP, are curl and git. All is done so that, once a specific release has been built, creating a new installation is as fast as possible. We are supporting the current OTP release version and 2 prior release versions (same as upstream OTP.) Older OTP releases may or may not work. We will advance release support as new releases of OTP become available. Kerl keeps tracks of the releases it downloads, builds and installs, allowing easy installations to new destinations (without complete rebuilding) and easy switches between Erlang/OTP installations. By default, kerl downloads source tarballs from the official repository tags but you can tell kerl to download from the official Erlang website. -

If you bind mount in a volume, you can simply back up that directory (which is jenkins_home) at any time. This is highly recommended. Treat the jenkins_home directory as you would a database, in Docker you would generally put a database on a volume. If your volume is inside a container, you can use a Docker command to extract the data, or other options to find where the volume data is. Note that some symlinks on some OSes may be converted to copies (this can confuse jenkins with lastStableBuild links etc). You can define the number of executors on the Jenkins built-in node using a groovy script. By default it is set to 2 executors, but you can extend the image and change it to your desired number of executors.
