A command-line tool aims to improve front-end engineer workflow and standards, powered by Node.js. Feflow (pronounced /ˈfefləʊ/) is a front-end flow and rule tool to improve engineering efficiency., and is hosted on Github: feflow. At present, it has been used in many applications, such as Now, Huayang Live, Huayang Friends, Mobile QQ Near Hand, Group Video, Group Gift, Huiyin, Tencent Myapp, Penguins and etc. With 80+ WEB/IOS/Andriod stable users, the cumulative production project reached 240+. Feflow refers to the thinking of Pipeline and divides work into five steps: init, develop, build, test, deploy. And corresponding to five basic commands: init, dev, build, test, and deploy. In addition to serving basic development workflows and specifications, Feflow provides an easy-to-expand plug-in mechanism for creating a team-wide toolchain ecosystem. Feflow only provides a CLI and kernel. The CLI is responsible for interacting with the command line terminal.

cline is a command line tool that counts code lines or non-whitespace characters in your project folder. It is designed to recursively find any source file matching specific rules and count the line breaks within that file. You may specify file suffixes to include or exclude as well as regular expressions for code lines that shall be excluded (e.g. to exclude comments). By default a heuristic algorithm skips binary files. You may configure the restrictiveness of this algorithm with command line options.

"No comment!" is a command-line tool that generates various comment-related metrics for source code files (e. g. comment density, blank lines per file)

Pyright is a fast type checker meant for large Python source bases. It can run in a “watch” mode and performs fast incremental updates when files are modified. Pyright supports configuration files that provide granular control over settings. Different “execution environments” can be associated with subdirectories within a source base. Each environment can specify different module search paths, python language versions, and platform targets. Type inference for function return values, instance variables, class variables, and globals. Type guards that understand conditional code flow constructs like if/else statements. Type hinting generics in standard collections. Pyright ships as both a command-line tool and a VS Code extension that provides many powerful features that help improve programming efficiency. The VS Code extension supports many time-saving language features.

semantic is a Haskell library and command line tool for parsing, analyzing, and comparing source code. Run semantic --help for complete list of up-to-date options. Semantic uses tree-sitter to generate parse trees, but layers in a more generalized notion of syntax terms across all supported programming languages. We'll see why this is important when we get to diffs and program analysis, but for now let's just inspect some output. It helps to have a simple program to parse. Symbols are named identifiers driven by the ASTs. This is the format that github.com uses to generate code navigation information allowing c-tags style lookup of symbolic names for fast, incremental navigation in all the supported languages. The incremental part is important because files change often so we want to be able to parse just what's changed and not have to analyze the entire project again.

Unused identifies unused code in Rails, Phoenix, and other types of applications, improving developer productivity. By default, unused leverages a different memory allocator called mimalloc. For my local benchmarks, it speeds up execution by a significant amount (which is documented in the commit introducing mimalloc), but currently runs into sporadic issues on Apple M1 devices. If you run into issues with segmentation faults, consider reinstalling unused with the stock Rust allocator. It is strongly recommended you install Universal Ctags to generate tags files. Universal Ctags supports more languages and has native parsers for a good number of them, resulting in faster tags generation time.
