    FlexSlider

    FlexSlider

An awesome, fully responsive jQuery slider plugin

Simple, semantic markup. Supported in all major browsers, horizontal/vertical slide and fade animations. Multiple slider support, Callback API, and more. Hardware accelerated touch swipe support. Custom navigation options, compatible with the latest version of jQuery. Display your products in a neatly designed, responsive slideshow within WooCommerce. FlexSlider was built to serve up the best responsive jQuery slider around. I had built a few implementations of responsive sliders on different client projects and noticed that there was a glaring hole for plugin support with the concept. I wanted to build a plugin that would serve the newest of beginners, while providing seasoned developers a tool they could use with confidence. What has come forth is this, FlexSlider. I plan to maintain this plugin and provide support to users implementing FlexSlider into their sites. Responsive web design can be tricky, but I hope that FlexSlider serves to uncomplicate the process, just a little bit.

    Fomantic-UI

    Fomantic-UI

Fomantic-UI is the community fork of Semantic-UI

Fomantic is a development framework that helps create beautiful, responsive layouts using human-friendly HTML. Fomantic UI treats words and classes as exchangeable concepts. Classes use syntax from natural languages like noun/modifier relationships, word order, and plurality to link concepts intuitively. Get the same benefits as BEM or SMACSS, but without the tedium. Fomantic uses simple phrases called behaviors that trigger functionality. Any arbitrary decision in a component is included as a setting that developers can modify. Performance logging lets you track down bottlenecks without digging through stack traces. Fomantic comes equipped with an intuitive inheritance system and high-level theming variables that let you have complete design freedom. Develop your UI once, then deploy with the same code everywhere. The only dogma from this framework: everything arbitrary is mutable.

    Infinite Scroll

    Infinite Scroll

    Automatically add next page

Infinite Scroll is a JavaScript plugin that automatically adds the next page, saving users from a full page load. You’ve likely seen it in use all over the web. The original version of Infinite Scroll was first released by Paul Irish 2008. It was a break-through work of front-end development, granting web developers a cutting edge experience via a user-friendly yet powerful jQuery plugin. That lineage scrolls on to this day. Infinite Scroll v4 supports Chrome 60+, Edge 79+, Firefox 55+, Safari 11+. For IE10 and Android 4 support, try Infinite Scroll v3. Infinite Scroll upholds URLs by changing them automatically as the user scrolls. Users can refresh the current page or return to a scrolled page and their position will be maintained. No more tears when you scroll 20 pages and accidentally hit refresh. Try out the full page demo.

    Loki

    Visual Regression Testing for Storybook

There are a few visual regression tools for the web, but most either cannot be run headless or use phantomjs which is deprecated and a browser nobody is actually using. They usually also require you to maintain fixtures. With react-native it's now possible to target multiple platforms with a single code base, but there's no single tool to test all to my knowledge. Loki aims to have easy setup, no to low maintenance cost, reproducible tests independent of which OS they are run on, runnable on CI, and support all platforms storybook does.

    BSL

    BSL

Body scroll locking that just works with everything

Enables body scroll locking (for iOS Mobile and Tablet, Android, desktop Safari/Chrome/Firefox) without breaking scrolling of a target element (eg. modal/lightbox/flyouts/nav-menus). If the overflow property of the body is set to hidden, the body widens by the width of the scrollbar. This produces an unpleasant flickering effect, especially on websites with centered content. If the reserveScrollBarGap option is set, this gap is filled by a padding-right on the body element. If disableBodyScroll is called for the last target element, or clearAllBodyScrollLocks is called, the padding-right is automatically reset to the previous value. Works with vanilla JS and frameworks such as React / Angular / VueJS. Disables body scroll WITHOUT disabling scroll of a target element. Supports nested target elements (eg. a modal that appears on top of a flyout).

    Bricks.js

    Bricks.js

A blazing fast masonry layout generator for fixed width elements

Bricks capitalizes on batched reading of layout properties for blazing fastpacking time, no matter how many items. Bricks was developed with a modern JavaScript workflow in mind. To use it, it's recommended you have a build system in place that can transpile ES6, and bundle modules. It's recommended that you assign your Bricks instance to a variable. Using your instance, you can enable and disable the resize handler, add and remove event handlers, accommodate dynamically added elements, etc. Bricks instances are extended with Knot.js, a browser-based event emitter. Use the event emitter syntax to add and remove handlers for the events emitted by the API methods. Bricks depends on the browser APIs ES5 array methods, forEach, map, indexOf, requestAnimationFrame, and matchMedia.

    Computer@Therapy

    Computer@Therapy

IT research and therapy in one piece.

The "Computer@Therapy" (iCT) project was founded in 2012 by J. Fiala inspired by Czech SEN (spec. edu.) cummunity, consequently it continued in coop. with Czech Universities and Open Source oriented corporations. Computer@Therapy is human computer interaction (HCI) research and therapy in one piece. We have pointed out that there are many uncovered SW/HW usability and accessibility issues even on existing apps. Hence we have proposed the SW/HW design principles (called iCT design principles) which defines how the HW/SW should be designed, developed and deployed, used to bring maximal outcome in education and therapy for mentally challenged. At this project page we present sources of developed apps according to iCT design principles. Apps are developed continuously by team members under the supervision of J. Fiala. New versions of iCT Framework and apps are added continuously at our new subproject tab (iCT-Framework v2 and its SEN apps) which is also called OPEN SEN PLATFORM.

    Interactable

    Interactable

Experimental implementation of high performance interactable views

This is an experimental implementation of a declarative API for handling fluid user interactions with views at 60 FPS in React Native. Here are some example use-cases for views that users can interact with. Swipeable card (a la Google Now) springing into place unless swiped away with enough force. Drawer snapping between closed and open with buttons appearing gradually as it's being dragged. Collapsible header that snaps to a smaller size as the content below is being scrolled. Chat heads (a la Facebook Messenger) that can be dragged around but snap to corners of the screen. All of these use-cases have views that continuously interact with the user's gestures. These interactions are normally physical in nature, having properties like springiness, friction, elasticity and damping. In order to feel natural on a touch device they need to run at 60 FPS.

    Shiro Project

We started to developing a tablet user interface based on gnome-shell

We started the project for school. Now the school project has finished and we plan to bring the project further. As said, it's based on gnome-shell. We took the source code of the gnome-shell and started to adapt it on touchscreen devices. Up to now we stayed fully compatible with the gnome-shell extension system. At the moment the software works just for the gnome-shell 3.2 shipped with Fedora 16 but we should adapt it for Ubuntu's gnome-shell version as well as for the newest releases of the gnome-shell. For the next steps we hope that we can integrate more social networks in the UI.

    Slideout.js

    Slideout.js

A touch slideout navigation menu for your mobile web apps

Implementing Slideout.js into your project is easy. Slideout is available on cdnjs. Also you can use one of many package managers. First of all, you'll need to create your markup. You should have a menu (#menu) and a main content (#panel) into your body. Add the Slideout.js styles (index.css) in your web application. Then you just include Slideout.js, create a new instance with some options and call the toggle method. Supports Chrome (IOS, Android, desktop), Firefox (Android, desktop), Safari (IOS, Android, desktop), Opera (desktop), and IE 10+ (desktop and mobile). You can use the special HTML attribute data-slideout-ignore to disable dragging on some elements. For example, if you have to prevent slideout will open when touch on carousels, maps, iframes, etc. The slideout emits translatestart, translate and translateend events only when it is opening/closing via touch events.

    Snap.js

    Snap.js

A Library for creating beautiful mobile shelfs in Javascript

A Library for creating beautiful mobile shelfs in Javascript. As standalone just include the file in a script tag. The slide intent is an int between 0 and 90, and represents the degrees in the first quadrant of a circle that you would like to have mirrored on the X and Y axis. For example, if you have 40 set as your slideIntent value, the user would only be able to slide the pane by dragging in the blue area in the diagram below. Once intent has been defined, it will not change until the user releases. CSS3 Powered Animations with IE fallbacks, drag support, drag handle support. Programatic API, "No-Drag" elements, and definable easing mode. Enable/disable events, disabled sides (left or right). It supports Ratchet (with templates!). Because of the nature of this code, drawers are just kind of stacked behind the content. To bring the proper drawer to the front, you can hook into Snaps.js' CSS classes.
