UICollectionViewLayout subclass adding custom transitions/animations
A UICollectionViewLayout subclass that adds custom transitions/animations to the UICollectionView without effecting your existing code. Normally a UICollectionView has no transition effects when you scroll from one item to another. There are lots of ways to write animations for UICollectionView, but using a UICollectionViewLayout subclass is by far the simplest one. And it doesn't break any of your existing code. You can still use your UICollectionView subclass and you don't need to change your UICollectionViewCell. Just plug and enjoy. Most of the built-in animators work best in Paging mode and they have additional parameters that you can tweak for better transitions. You can also write your own animators by implementing the protocol LayoutAttributesAnimator. AnimatedCollectionViewLayout is available under the MIT license. -

DeckTransition is an attempt to recreate the card-like transition found in the iOS 10 Apple Music and iMessage apps. The transition can be called from code or using a storyboard. To use via storyboards, just setup a custom segue (kind set to custom), and set the class to DeckSegue. Set modalPresentationCapturesStatusBarAppearance to true in your modal view controller, and override the preferredStatusBarStyle variable to return .lightContent. By default, DeckTransition has a swipe-to-dismiss gesture which is automatically enabled when your modalʼs main UIScrollView is scrolled to the top. DeckTransition has an internal heuristic to determine which UIScrollView should be tracked for the swipe-to-dismiss gesture. In general, this should be sufficient for and cover most use cases. -

(The watch app acts as a simple* remote). The source is easy to understand and modify. The structure of the app is based on a simple hierarchy of operation classes. There are three NATOperation subclasses, each responsible of a specific operation. NATMonitoringOperation, NATAdvertisingOperation, and NATRangingOperation. The app is easy to use with any given proximity UUID and identifier, which can be changed in NATOperation.
