A library to imitate the drawer in Maps for iOS 10/11. The master branch follows the latest currently released version of Swift. If you need an older version of Swift, you can specify it's version (e.g. 1.0.x) in your Podfile or use the code on the branch for that version. Older branches are unsupported. Pulley 2.9.0 has new properties to support a new display mode. The base functionality should work without any significant changes. The biggest change is the new display mode of .compact to replicate Apple Maps Behavior on the iPhone SE size class devices. Pulley is an easy to use drawer library meant to imitate the drawer in iOS 10/11's Maps app. It exposes a simple API that allows you to use any UIViewController subclass as the drawer content or the primary content. -

Notify users when a new version of your app is available and prompt them to upgrade. Siren checks a user's currently installed version of your iOS app against the version that is currently available in the App Store. If a new version is available, a language localized alert can be presented to the user informing them of the newer version, and giving them the option to update the application. Alternatively, Siren can notify your app through alternative means, such as a custom user interface. If an app update is available, Siren checks to make sure that the version of iOS on the user's device is compatible with the one that is required by the app update. For example, if a user has iOS 11 installed on their device, but the app update requires iOS 12, an alert will not be shown. This takes care of the false-positive case regarding app updating. -

Xcode 11 introduced Previews which is a fantastic way to quickly validate your UI in multiple scenarios just like Sizes did. If you'd like to know more about Xcode Previews I recommend this WWDC session. You can even use Previews with UIKit so there's no reason to stick to this library. -

Today almost all apps have async processes, such as API requests, long running processes, etc. While the processes are working, usually developers place a loading view to show users that something is going on. SkeletonView has been conceived to address this need, an elegant way to show users that something is happening and also prepare them for which contents are waiting. When using elements with text, SkeletonView draws lines to simulate text. Besides, you can decide how many lines you want. If numberOfLines is set to zero, it will calculate how many lines needed to populate the whole skeleton and it will be drawn. Instead, if you set it to one, two or any number greater than zero, it will only draw this number of lines. The skeletons have a default appearance. So, when you don't specify the color, gradient or multilines properties, SkeletonView uses the default values. -

By coupling it with live code injection such as injectionForXcode we can design views in real-time. View layout becomes fun, concise, maintainable, and dare I say, beautiful. In the project folder, you can find an example of a typical login view laid out in both native and Stevia for you to understand and compare the two approaches. Stevia enables you to write readable Auto Layout code. It does so by tackling the 3 main components of layout: view hierarchy, layout and styling. -

Swift is a great programming language that allows us to learn faster and build more stuff in less time because of its simplicity. Back then, when I created my first project related to previewing link, only Facebook had this feature on their services. Now many companies preview links inside their products. None of them has open-sourced it though. It basically does the same thing as the others. It makes a preview from an URL, grabbing all the information such as title, relevant texts and images. -
