This is the original plot plugin by Alexander 'E-Razor' Krause from 2005 that has been updated to work with the latest Dokuwiki.

There are “better” or rather more sophisticated alternatives to render charts with the closest to gnuplot being dataplot that wraps gnuplot meant to prevent command injections by not exposing the command-line, however resuscitating the orignal GNUplot or plot plugin by E-Razor has the advantage of having a dokuwiki plugin that comes as close as it can to a gnuplot implementation as well as depending on the binary which allows swapping or compiling gnuplot with all the desired features.
