I have almost all but quit furry

- I gave my fursuit away to one of my best friends.
- I deleted my Twitter account, my Bsky account, my Mastodon account, and set instagram to inactive.
- I had an upcoming commission for a new sticker pack, but cancelled it.
- I have not attended a convention in years, have barely attended any meets, and only keep to a few friends.
- I have not felt connected to others in a long time, and even then, always felt out of place.
So in some sense, I guess I'm kinda done? I still appreciate art/fursuits/fantasy/etc, but my community involvement is essentially dead at this point. I don't know if it will ever pick up again.

So much has changed and not in an good way.
It's not that the fandom has changed, but I changed.
Do you think there's a possibility that your interest could be rekindled somehow? What do you think would need to change for that? Do you currently live in a place that has an active furry community or is the lack of opportunities to connect with others a hindrance for that?
Some good news is that I have become more active since this post, as I have altered my fursona to once again better reflect me. I forced myself to go to a few fur meets, but not too often. I've even got a new fursuit coming along! I went to my first convention in over 4 years (Furrydelphia), and had a fairly good time.
