I know everyone may not agree with this, but everyone has personal opinions. To the respect of myself and others, comments have been disabled.

I will no longer be buying art commissions from non-popular artists that use boosty as a way to get paid. This is due to the fact: of not receiving updates for months, even if a message has been sent. I'm tired of seeing my notes read but no response, etc.
Even if the artist is not a scammer, I find it highly rude that I go out of my way to send money to individuals outside of sanctions that money cannot be sent to. I also, understand that there is dire events that are currently happening in other countries that will not be named.
Another reason, is that many artist do not use paypal's conversion rate. I understand that money is scarce, in these "not named countries" but it is also the same problem in my country and many others. I do not like spending $10 - $20 usd more than what is asked by the artist.
Unfortunately, I understand Boosty is a donation platform, but was made to be able to help those in these "not named countries". I believe that there should be a way to dispute problems. I don't think many want to spend money and find a scammer run away with their currency. Its just not right. I do not like using a platform that was originally made to send money to sellers
