We are writing a security standard for mobile apps and a comprehensive testing guide that covers the processes, techniques, and tools used during a mobile app security test, as well as an exhaustive set of test cases that enables testers to deliver consistent and complete results. The MSTG is a comprehensive manual for mobile app security testing and reverse engineering for iOS and Android mobile security testers. The OWASP Mobile Application Security Verification Standard (MASVS) is, as the name implies, a standard for mobile app security. It can be used by mobile software architects and developers seeking to develop secure mobile applications, as well as security testers to ensure completeness and consistency of test results. A checklist is available for use in security assessments that is based on the MASVS and MSTG and contains links to the MSTG test case for each requirement.

Bats is a TAP-compliant testing framework for Bash. It provides a simple way to verify that the UNIX programs you write behave as expected. A Bats test file is a Bash script with special syntax for defining test cases. Under the hood, each test case is just a function with a description. Bats is most useful when testing software is written in Bash, but you can use it to test any UNIX program. Test cases consist of standard shell commands. Bats makes use of Bash's errexit (set -e) option when running test cases. If every command in the test case exits with a 0 status code (success), the test passes. In this way, each line is an assertion of truth. The Bats source code repository is hosted on GitHub. There you can file bugs on the issue tracker or submit tested pull requests for review.

This repository is used to document my journey on getting a better foundational knowledge of DevOps. I will be starting this journey on the 1st January 2022 but the idea is that we take 90 days which just so happens to be January 1st to March 31st. This project provides a step-by-step educational guide on building a simple operating system kernel entirely from scratch, specifically targeting the Raspberry Pi 3. The operating system, referred to as RPi OS, is inspired by the Linux kernel but remains intentionally minimal to focus on clarity and teaching fundamental OS concepts. Each lesson introduces a kernel feature and demonstrates its implementation within RPi OS, followed by a comparison to how the same concept is realized in the Linux kernel. The repository is structured so that every lesson corresponds to a snapshot of the source code at that stage, making it easier for learners to follow the progression of kernel development. The toolkit glpk supports methods for mixed integer linear programming (MILP). These methods solve Capital Budgeting Problems (CBP). Unfortunately, glpk does not support any multithreading and there is no feature to distribute problems via network connections. Today, this is a pitiable sight, because modern computer systems are coupled by networks and support multi threading. We create a distributed system with Apache thrift and the C-API of glpk. Now, it is possible to use as many cores in a network as you want. With a focus on the MILP methods we implement a load balancing and speed up the solving process in a multiplicative way. Sometimes we have super-linear speedup with a small set of hardware. With a splitting of problems, parallel computing and distributing the actual best solution to all running processes we solve CBP much faster than a sequential processing can do.
