Overview: Here we present FijiWings for Mac and Windows, a set of macros designed to perform semi-automated morphophometric analysis of a wing photomicrograph. FijiWings uses plug-ins installed in the Fiji version of ImageJ to rapidly and accurately measure wing area, reliably detect trichome positions and calculate trichome density of a wing region selected by the user. UPDATES: 12-6-20 Fijiwings 2.4 for Mac is uploaded. Bundles JAVA and ImageJ update to the current day. Following download, runs on a Imac and a MacBook running Mojave and Catalina. Follow the steps outlined in "README.txt" file for proper set up.

DEW is a platform that allows users to explore RNA-Seq data. A web-based Graphical User Interface is included. The analysis proceeds as such: gapped alignments are performed and corrected for length, PCR and fragment bias so that a Fragment Per (effective) Kilobase per Million of reads (FPKM) is estimated as well as the simpler Reads Per Kb per Million of reads (RPKM). When provided with multiple isoforms and in the ‘contextual’ mode, corrections include a expectation maximization algorithm estimates effective expression profiles and a corrected alignment is produced. For each gene the user provides, DEW computes coverage descriptive statistics (RPKM, FKMP and total, mean and median corrected counts), expression profiles (normalized as R/FPKM and trimmed mean of fold change). DEW allows users to explore the data by providing interactive graphs.

These large scale genomic, proteomic and metabolomic datasets are being generated and centrally managed by Bioplatforms Australia in collaboration with leading scientists, research institutes and government agencies. With the support of ANDS, QFAB has developed this web application to enable the publication of these datasets to Research Data Australia (RDA). By login in, BPA can upload ISA-Tab descriptions of their studies and can edit, manage and publish their collection descriptions to Research Data Australia.
