The purpose of this program is to teach a computer to classify plants via their leaves. You just need to input the image of a leaf(acquired from scanner or camera), then the computer can tell you what kind of plant it is.

AK Toolbox is a Matlab Toolbox for co-evolution analysis for protein Multiple Sequence Alignment (MSA) distributed under Simplified BSD License. The aim of AK toolbox is to provide a set of Matlab functions, which are independent of Matlab Bioinforamtics Toolbox, for coevolution anaylsis for MSA. At present, co-evolution methods available in this package are Statistical Coupling Analysis (SCA), Explicit Likelihood of Subset Covariance (ELSC), Mutual Information (MI), Observed Minus Expected Square method (OMES), McLanhlan Based Substitution Correlation (MCBASC), Direct-coupling analysis (DCA) and logR. Enclosed in this package is also an archive of different Bioinformatics matrices.

An Initiative to help the Engineering & Research Community

Thank you for your interest in Speedy Composer. Speedy Composer is an automated application for composing melodies for Speedy Net members. We recently made changes to the source code of Speedy Net, and converted it into the Python language and Django framework. Since Speedy Composer was originally written in PHP, it is not adapted to work with Speedy Net in its current form. So unfortunately we were forced to temporarily close the app Speedy Composer. But don't worry, we kept backups of all the tunes composed by Speedy Composer, and when the website is reopened we will upload them to the new site. Speedy Composer and Speedy Net are open source applications, free software. We are currently looking for volunteers to help us convert Speedy Composer to Python. NBT is an open source Matlab toolbox for the computation and integration of neurophysiological biomarkers. NBT allows for easy implementation of new biomarkers, and incorporates an online wiki with extensive help and tutorials.

The “lpACLib” library contains the VHDL description of accurate and approximate versions of several arithmetic modules (like adders and multiplier of different bit-widths) and accelerators. Moreover, it also provides the corresponding software behavioral models/implementations developed in C and MATLAB to enable quality characterization. Besides our novel designs, it also contains implementations for several state-of-the-art arithmetic modules and their approximate versions. This open-source library facilitates research and development in approximate computing at higher abstraction levels, and to facilitate reproducible research and comparisons. AERST is a C++ tool to simulate AER (Address-Event-Representation)-based systems

AVRS performs spatial 3D-sound processing allowing the arbitrary placement of sound source in auditory space. The main goal is to develop a genuine experimental flexible platform, that runs in a general-purpose architecture computer (standard hardware and software).

We provide MATLAB and Verilog Models of GeAr, and previously proposed adders (ACA-I, ETAII, ACA-II and GDA) at http://sourceforge.net/projects/approxadderlib/ GeAr is a low latency Generic Accuracy Configurable Adder that provides a higher number of potential configurations compared to state-of-the-art approximate adders, thus enabling a high degree of flexibility and trade-off between performance and output quality. These MATALB and Verilog models can allow software programmer as well as hardware designers to evaluate their code and design. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first open-source library of approximate adders that facilitates reproducible comparisons and further research and development in this direction across various layers of design abstraction. This work is a result of collaborative effort between Chair for Embedded Systems (CES) at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany and Vision Image and Signal Processing (VISpro) Lab at SEECS-NUST, Pakistan.
