You open your eyes and find yourself in a dense forest, surrounded by tree trunks - all different shades of purple and a low green mist that obscures the view to the sky.

You travel a short distance down a faint path in the undergrowth where you find a basket woven from fine luminous green hairs. Inside the basket is a piece of a jagged glass with a colourless eye staring back at you, giving you a CRUEL LOOK and blinking rapidly. You carefully pick up the glass.

Suddenly from behind you comes a noise… a whisper at first, but clearly distinct through the deafening silence of the forest. It’s repeating a phrase over and over, and although the words are clear - they don’t make sense in order they are being spoken. The ENCHANTING VOICE grows louder until it’s ringing in your ears. As quickly as it arrives it stops and again, there’s silence.

Looking back at the glass in your hands, you realise that the eye is no longer blinking and is completely still. Suddenly you experience a pain in your temples like you have never felt before and you drop the glass back into the basket. You fall to your knees and close your eyes, but instead of the back of your eyelids and darkness, you see a bright green light.

You feel all the pain you have ever felt (and will ever feel) rush through your body, emanating from your temples as if it’s trying to escape through your fingers, toes and other extremities. An overwhelming sense of darkness and foreboding overcomes you as you open your eyes, but instead of the forest, you see nothing but white - you remember nothing, you feel nothing, you see nothing. It’s as if you have been visited by the FANTASY EATER.

Suddenly you’re back in the forest. The basket is gone with the glass and the fog has lifted. You can see the sky through the purple trees. There is a path winding ahead of you that goes deeper into the forest. It is still and dark. You can also see a way to climb a nearby tree as its purple bark is jutting out and it’s covered by strong vines. You also hear a stream close by - a sound not heard before in the silent forest.
