i missed drawin ponies, still fun

bigger, more expressive eyes and looks very fluffy in places, hair or no hair tho… still unsure. design on the left is so close to perfect tho in terms of general build/anatomy, (wings should be bigger tho) plus he’s just a teeny bit derpy-lookin and i think it works, just imagine this guy but he’s the size of a Shire horse

thought about giving him a digit at the top of his wing that can grab, ala Gargoyles, that can grab onto the other to make a wing cloak when he stands, can also be used for fine manipulation and grabbing, but thats me thinkin too hard about fictional anatomy of an oc lol

(still my fav cartoon of all time, might’ve also awoken my love of monster folks 👀)

attempted another Cole doodle while doing my laundry, i think im getting closer to what i see in my head, needs bigger wings tho

also i ditched the long hair that came from the manga panel header, it just didnt look right, but i could see adding it again if i can make it look good, also i kinda gave up on the nose, its too close to bedtime lol

i think i figured out Colin’s look

slightly longer hair and big, bug eyes that make him look less threatening than he actually is

he looks a bit baby-faced in that last drawing, but it works since he’s pouting lol

darker eye bags and slight stubble, less floofy, greasy and stringy hair, who wouldn’t agree to sleep next to him??

to average people, he just looks like some skeezy weirdo you’d cross the street to avoid, but to dangerous folks, he looks too weak to consider him a threat. and that helps him go unnoticed

i have an art supply hoarding problem

had a looooooonng lull at work so i was doodling, and i took a swing at what i think Cygnus looks like

he started out more animalistic-looking and i still imagine him as a bit slinky and he doesn’t move like a regular person, more like if a cat always stood on its hind legs

it looks like he has toe beans but the beans are actually ridged like a gecko, and yes, he can climb walls

eta: the “hairs” on his head are actually like porcupine quills, they’re not sharp, but they are super tough and protect his head. They blend in with the coloring on his face and don’t fall out when he molts
