ATO: ORDERRUNE - EPILOGUE

(It’s been a day since Overlorder was transformed back into Ollie. The CSB and I decide to head to Inkopolis Square, this time with M.O.S.H.I. in tow, where Ollie is waiting for us, leaning on a wall with a pipe in his mouth.)

🎴 Ah. Hello there, ColorStreak Battalion. Come to mock me some more?

No. We have come here to make sure you are okay.

🎴 WHA—?! Who the hell are you?

I am the Media Onboard Scanning & Heavy Interception program (otherwise known as M.O.S.H.I.). I am the personal assistant to Kyle’s War Machine suit. You must be Ollie.

🎴 Yeah, yeah, I’m Ollie. It’s…well, I’m not saying it’s nice to see you all again, but it’s not unwelcome, either.

Hey, you sound different.

🎴 Right, that. The last of my Ordarius powers finally fizzled away, and now I sound like myself again.

Where’s Ring?

🎴 He went back with Blossom and Jasmine. He was certainly a force to be reckoned with.

What’s with the pipe?

🎴 Oh right, this thing. Don’t worry about it.

(Ollie blows the pipe, and bubbles come out of it.)

🎴 It’s a bubble pipe. It may look like a real pipe, but I assure you, it’s not. Unlike Makoyaki, I don’t intend to start smoking.

So…are your Ordarius powers gone?

🎴 No, not entirely. Believe it or not, Marina and Pearl decided to give me the powers I had in the Memverse back, but I can only use them there. I’m essentially a new security measure for the Memverse program. If any unauthorized force tries to break in, be it a computer virus or an Octoling with malicious intent, I’m now being paid handsomely by Pearl and Marina to stop things like that.

(The Alternarune agents walk out from the Lobby and head towards Ollie.)

🚀 Hey, Ollie! Good to see you here, man!

🎱 Indeed. Glad to see you’re able to have a civil chat with the CSB.

👨‍✈️ No offense, of course. We were just unsure if you could actually do it.

🎭 Hey, I’m just glad I didn’t end up wearing those stupid masks again.

⚙️ Hey, Ollie. Show them the card trick you showed me.

🎴 Hm? Oh, right. Give me a second, Makoyaki.

(Ollie pulls out a carefully-boxed up deck of Hanafuda cards from his shirt pocket. He carefully pulls the cards from out of the box, puts the box in his pocket, and begins skillfully throwing the cards into the air in an arch/rainbow-shaped pattern, catching each of the cards without fail on the way back down. None of the cards are lost or damaged during it. Once he’s done, he carefully puts the deck back into the box, and all of us applaud his trick.)

Whoa! Not bad, dude!

🎴 I don’t just play a mean game of Hanafuda, you know. I can also do some special party tricks like that with the cards.

🎴 Now then, we should really be going now. FrostyFest starts in a few hours, and we’ve all picked Team Solo. We need to squeeze out a few more victories.

Did you pick Solo because of the ink color?

Since Ordarius has been turned back into Ollie, let’s finally see who he is outside of the Memverse!

Ollie is the Octoling that was turned into Ordarius. He’s still just as prickly and unfriendly as he was in the Spire of Order, but no longer has the power he had previously. (He still has it in the Memverse, however. We’ll get to that in the epilogue.)

His tentacle hair more closely resembles flames, now being a bright red color instead of jet-black. His eyes are now bright-red as well, although they still have the black scelera on them. He’s decided to wear some red flannel to go with the look.

The scars on his tentacles have finally healed up, but he decided to put the Golden Toothpick in its’ place. He’s no stranger to combat, and the Golden Toothpick is his way of warning people he doesn’t mess around in the slightest.

When in battle (or if he gets pissed off enough), he’ll enter a state of hell-bent focus and anger known as “Battle Mode” (Makoyaki came up with the term), which is a remnant of his original powers as Ordarius. When Ollie enters that state, he will NOT stop until whoever made him angry is dealt with, no matter what.

His weapon of choice is the Aerospray RG. His reason for wielding it is, in his own words: “It makes others angry while it makes me happy. What more could I ask for?”

Ollie REALLY likes Hanafuda cards. His accociated emoji is even of a hanafuda card itself (🎴)! He always keeps a full Hanafuda deck with him at all times, and plays games with said deck in his spare time.

Oddly enough, after leaving the Memverse with the others, the only member of the Alternarune Agents who Ollie’s been able to get along with is Makoyaki. Ollie’s intrested in how Makoyaki’s able to battle with such skill even when stoned out of his mind from taking a smoke from his bong, and Makoyaki’s intrested in learning how to play a game of Hanafuda. They both get something from the other, and they’ve already hit it off.

Since Ordarius was inspired by Taurus (one of the OCs owned by the amazing @cru5h-cascades), I felt like I HAD to give Ollie some kind of relation to Makoyaki, much like Taurus with Finley (Cru5h’s version of Mechanic).

And who knows? We may just see more of Ollie going forward.

⚫️ Ah, welcome, everyone. I have been expecting you.

🚀 YOU. Alright, pal. Give us Smollusk and get the fuck out. Final warning.

⚫️ I think not.

(Ordarius reveals a tiny cage that has Smollusk inside of it.)

OMG! That’s Smollusk? He’s so cute!

💿 I appweciate the compliment, Ms. Makuwoma, but now is absolutely not the time fow that!

(Ordarius stops when he sees Haruka.)

⚫️ Oh? You must be Haruka Amami, correct? I thought your world was destroyed by a man by the name of Chad Warden, also known as “The Harbinger”. How are you here?

⚫️ Putting Kyle into the Agitando machine wasn’t without purpose, you know. Now then, Kyle, let us settle this.

(Ordarius snaps his fingers, and everyone is suddenly frozen in place, glitching on the spot.)

⚫️ Mano-a-pulpo.

Huh?

⚫️ (sigh…) “Man-to-octopus”, you ignoramus. “Pulpo” is “octopus” in Spanish.

Oh. Okay then. Let’s settle this.

💍 HIII-YAAH!!!

⚫️ OW!!! GODDAMNIT, WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!

(Suddenly, an octoling wearing what appears to be a gym uniform dives in and punches Ordarius with what appears to be a ring around their hands.)

💍 Phew! Made it just in time. You’re Kyle, right? Blossom and Jasmine told me a lot of good things about you.

Oh! You must be Ring!

💍 Yep! That’s me. Nice to finally meet you.

⚫️ Alright. I’m going to officially drop the “reserved gentleman” act. Let’s settle this like Romeo does it.

(Ordarius snaps his fingers, and Ring and I are teleported to what looks like…)

…Pokémon Square? How am I here?

⚫️ “Why hello, Kyle. How long has it been since you’ve seen this place?”

Oh. When you said “Romeo”, you meant the Admin. Like, Minecraft Story Mode. I get it now. Also, you’re not PMD!Kyle. Don’t you DARE use his face.

⚫️ “Fine. Let us get down to brass tacks.”

⚫️ “This was the first adventure you ever had. How very fitting…

(Suddenly, Ordarius, still resembling the Meowth that PMD!Kyle originally was, grows to giant size, with similar markings to Overlorder now present.)

⚫️ …THAT IT WILL ALSO BE YOUR LAST.”

💍 Here. Take these rings for your fists. You’re gonna need them.

What about you?

(Ring pulls out two more rings from his pockets.)

💍 I got plenty of spares, don’t worry.

(Ordarius begins attacking us. He tries to crush us numerous times before Ring and I both land a hit on his face. His body suddenly begins glitching.)

⚫️ What the…?! Why are my powers glitching out?! Fine! Onto the next phase!

(The scenery glitches out again, and now…)

Is this…the Alternan campsite? This was where we met Dystopiac and the rest of the Alternarune Agents.

⚫️🚀 Indeed it is! I hope you’re enjoying this little trip down memory lane, Kyle! I know I sure am!

💍 Oh boy. Ordarius is not happy.

Yeah, and now he’s taken the form of Dystopiac.

(Ordarius whips out Dystopiac’s S-BLAST ‘91.)

💍 We should probably run.

Agreed.

(Ordarius begins firing off globs of glitchy ink at us! Whatever it is, it doesn’t look friendly—)

(BANG!)

What the?! I’m stuck!

⚫️🚀 There. You never should’ve made me feel small…

💍 I got your back, Kyle!

(Ring socks Ordarius in the face, causing him to glitch out more. Ordarius, writhing in pain, quickly snaps his fingers again, changing the scene to another familiar locale.)

This is Tengami Tower!

⚫️🌸 Hiya, Kyle! Aren’t you happy to see me? After all, you did help me and Joke-Explainer out of a serious bind! Teehee~!

l’m not listening to you, Ordarius. If you think I’m gonna fall for that, you’ve got another thing coming. You’re not Susie, and you never will be.

⚫️🌸 That’s a shame, but I honestly hated saying “teehee” like that. Didn’t wanna keep up the façade for much longer. And while I may not be Susanna Patrya Haltmann, it’ll definitely be a good form to take when I DESTROY you and your little friend!

(Ordarius uses Anna’s vines to trap Ring and myself, then begins using Susie’s cherry blossoms to shred us up.)

💍 Let’s try something a little different!

(Ring takes off one of his rings, tears some fabric off of his shirt using one of the cherry blossom petals, ties the ring to the fabric, and swings the ring at Ordarius, knocking him face-first to the ground.)

⚫️🌸 RRRRGGGHHH! WHY YOU LITTLE…!!!

(The scene suddenly shifts again, this time to what looks like a combination of the Candy Cane Caverns from Moshi Monsters and the Wrath Ramparts from the Infernalands. Ordarius is now glitching out into a flickering version of Sweet Tooth and RetroSpecter.)

⚫️🍭☄️ Now look at what you’ve done! You’ve ruined EVERYTHING! I can’t even keep a stable connection anymore! It’s starting to meld together in an unstable state!

(Ordarius begins grabbing at the rings I’ve been using, pulling on my arm out of desperation.)

⚫️🍭☄️ GIVE ME THOSE FUCKING RINGS! THEY ARE THE CAUSE OF ALL THIS MOTHERFUCKERY! I AM NOT LETTING YOU WIN WHEN I AM THIS CLOSE! I WILL NOT HESITATE TO KILL YOU, YOU PEST!

(After almost 30 seconds of Ordarius using my arm as a game of tug-of-war, I finally manage to pull my arm out of his grasp. I then wind up a punch, as the two of us are teleported back to the Spire of Order.)

Give MissingNo. my regards from Glitch City, Ordarius.

(With one last punch, I hit Ordarius dead in the face, completely getting rid of his powers, unpausing everyone. He’s back to being Ollie again.)

🎴 DAMN IT ALL! Why did you have to make everything so difficult?! Why couldn’t you have just left well enough alone?

Look who’s finally back to being a regular Octoling again!

(Everyone quickly surrounds Ollie.)

🎴 No need, Haruka. I have no choice but to concede and finally back down at long last. You took my powers away, after all.

🌸 Glad you’re backing down without a fight, Ollie. It’s genuinely appreciated after everything with Wood Man happened.

🃏 Affirmative. We were forced to kill him. We thank you for your cooperation, Ollie.

(DING!)

🪄 The elevator’s working again, darlings!

“Guess this is where we finally split ways, huh?”

“It was nice seeing you all again.”

(Saku quickly stops me, Ring, and the CSB before we enter the elevator.)

Kyle, I would like to personally thank you and your friends for all of this. If you ever find yourself in the Infernalands again, just know that you and your friends are all now official VIPs at the Fuzzy Feeling, alongside myself and the other Infernalings. You’ve more than earned it.

Ta-ta, everyone! Mwah~!

(Saku and the others head back to their world, as do the others. I’m the last one to head through the elevator, but I’m stopped again as Smollusk waves back to me.)

💿 Goodbye, Kyle! Thank you fow fweeing me!

🚀 Oh yeah? Because every time we beat them, we beat your scrawny ass, too.

“What makes you think this will be any different?”

“Yeah. Go ahead. Enlighten us.”

(Ordarius snaps his fingers, and all 3 of the original bosses show up.)

⚫️ Because this time, I am going all-out. I am also leaving. Ta-ta!

(Ordarius snaps his fingers, leaving the arena with the towering structure, as well as activating all 3 bosses at once.)

SHIT.

EVERYONE, RUN!

(We can’t take on all 3 bosses at once! That’s suicide! We retreat to the elevator, but Ordarius locked it.)

Wait…HARUKA?!

🪄 Darling! Good to see you again!

(Suddenly, a blizzard appears in the area, completely shorting out the bosses and insta-splatting them all.)

We…we did it. We got them all in one icy shot.

🃏 Haruka Amami? What are you doing here? The last time we saw you was at our wedding!

🌸 JE does raise some valid questions, Haruka. Where have you been since our wedding? And how did you get here? I’m very confused about all this, y'know.

Yeah, well, guess what, pal? We’ve got everyone here. The Pinging Marniacle boss should be a piece of cake.

(Ordarius snaps his fingers, and suddenly, everyone aside from the Alternarune agents and myself are frozen in place.)

⚫️ No it will not. Do not worry, they shall be unfrozen once the challenge is over. Now then: Pinging Marniacle 2.0? Make short work of these blithering buffoons.

(Suddenly, Pinging Marniacle makes a mad dash towards us!)

🎱 The hell?! It’s not supposed to move yet!

🚀 No freakin’ kidding, Sherlock! It’s also not supposed to throw those goddamn Suction Bombs out like machine guns!

👨‍✈️ This…is definitely different.

(The boss skids to a halt, revealing its’ weakpoint…or at least, what SHOULD be its’ weakpoint.)

I only wish my transformation was possible without these stupid Green Machine crystals. They’re basically like drugs in my world. Far as I know, though, they’re harmless aside from, well, the transformation thing.

But, fucking infuriatingly, they’re still something that would get me banned from quarterbacking, hence why I try to keep them a secret. Again, bro: They’re HARMLESS.

A NEW YEAR’S MESSAGE FROM ORDARIUS

⚫️ Hello everyone. This is Ordarius speaking. First of all, let me get this out of the way: Happy New Year to you all.

⚫️ Now, for the main reason why I am here: I have come here to announce that the Orderrune event will finally resume tommorow, January 2nd.

⚫️ This has been a long time coming, but I can assure you, it will happen. It was meant to happen today, but it unfortunately cannot for three big reasons.

⚫️ First reason: Kyle decided to head back to the real world to celebrate the new year with his IRL friends and family. He got hopped up on chocolates and is now currently suffering the aftermath of that decision. He also tried a jalepeño popper and burned the roof of his mouth, hence the chocolates.

⚫️ Second reason: Joke-Explainer 7000 & Susie Haltmann are currently shaken up after the SiIvaGunner channel of the “Central Canon Continuum” posted a video called “ROTTEN”, which was an FNF mod featuring Robbie Rotten and Wood Man…? Ugh, why does a channel that uploads nothing but bait-and-switch video game OSTs need such a complicated storyline? Regardless, the two are shaken up and need time to process this.

⚫️ Third and final reason: I myself need some time to think. I already have plans, but after Team Waternorm decided to rear their ugly heads, I need to make some last-minute improvements to the next boss fight, the Pinging Marnicle 2.0, and I need to make them NOW.

IMPORTANT HOLIDAY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Yep! Update 2.0 to the Vs. RetroSpecter Kyle Mod, which I’m dubbing “The Malterrune Update”, will launch on Christmas Day! I figured the best way to end off the year is to give you guys a present of my own.

Also, I’ve decided to put the lore-based stuff on break for now. I’m stretching myself thin here, and I realized I’ve promised more than I can deliver for right now. The holiday season has just completely screwed my schedule over. However, this time, I think I can simply pause it for now and resume in January. You can still send the characters any asks, and I’ll still be checking my inbox, so it’s not like I’ll be COMPLETELY gone. The event will (hopefully) resume January 1st, 2026. That date isn’t concrete, mind you, it’s only an approximation, and it is subject to change.

AN ANNOUNCMENT REGARDING THE ATO: ORDERRUNE EVENT

Hey, everyone. It’s Kyle here. Let me preface this by getting this out of the way first:

NO. THE ORDERRUNE EVENT IS NOT AT ALL BEING CANCELLED.

This post is is to explain to everyone why this event seems to be going slowly. Because believe me, I’ve been planning this event for a while, and going so slowly was not part of it.

First reason: It’s December, and the holiday season is in full swing. You have no idea how hyped I am for the holidays, and it’s kinda making me a bit…scatterbrained. More than usual, in fact.

Second reason: I keep getting drawn to other things, mostly involving the games I play. Splatoon, Animal Crossing, Vs. RetroSpecter, Persona 3 Reload, the works.

Third and final reason: I think I’m coming down with something. Probably just a minor cold, but still, that sucks. Plus, it’s making me feel hella tired. I slept in until 11:00 AM both yesterday and today, and I usually wake up at around 8:00 to 9:00 AM.

Rest assured, the event isn’t cancelled. Not in the least. But you’re gonna have to deal with some lethargy this time around. Life decided to chuck a brick at me, and BOY did it throw that brick hard.

(Ordarius leaves, as the Asynchonous Rondo machine activates. However, it suddenly spits out…a BOOYAH BOMB?!)

MOVE, YOU DUMBASSES.

(Nightflaid suddenly pushes us to the side.)
