The concept of Will missing his eye and having to adapt to life with a little shittier depth perception. His neck always hurts, but for once it isnt Vecna, its because he tilts his head towards his working eye to make everything look right. Having to adapt the way he paints to not cause him strain headaches. Will who thinks hes losing his memory of his friends faces, but quickly learns its because of his adapting sight.
Mike loosing his left arm. Mike needing to learn how to use a pencil again, and a typewriter. Hes too stubborn to learn with his right hand, but eventually does use it a little bit. He finds a comfortable way to write and type with his prosthetic arm. He can use both hands and has pretty good handwriting, but still prefers his left. The right tends to get sore faster.
Jane who loses her powers. She sometimes still raises her hands to move things to her when shes tucked in on a cold day. Her head hurts almost constantly from the over exertion. She gets frequent nosebleeds still, and sometimes, at the very beginning, remembers her heart fluttering in fear that it was back. That she could somehow restart the cycle.
Max who uses a wheelchair or crutches, and has pretty bad vision. Despite her making fun of Mike for his reading glasses, she wears a pair too. They help just enough that she feels a little normal. Her wheelchair is decorated (by the party and erica), but she doesnt like using it unless its really bad. Once she graduates college tho, she uses it more. Sometimes normal isnt what other people think it is.
Dustin, with a ton of badass scars. His hearing is a little worse now, too. He doesnt even really know how it got bad. Hes got a few scars up and down his legs and arms, and he has a tattoo from Eddie over one of them. He likes telling people the story of that one, even if he lies a little about it. He doesnt say much about the others.
Lucas has a big scar over his chest, as well as a few on his face. The one of his chest was deep enough to need stitches, but he didnt end up getting them until after the final battle. Lucas with chronic migraines from staying up late by Max's side. From all the caffeine in his system at one point.
