SantaMania

SantaMania is a rhythm based arcade shoot 'em up  game where every attack follows the music. Dodge, shoot, and survive as long as you can your final score depends on how much life you keep.

How to Play

  • Use the Left and Right arrow keys to control Santa. 
  •  Press X or O in rhythm to shoot "Ho Ho Ho."

Very nice visually striking game, works as intended although idk how much rhythm based i really feels, you can mash or just leave the button pressed for more shots and while you don't get a streak it gets the job done.

Otherwise a pretty solid Christmas shoot em up.

Made it to the 3rd level!


Skiing Santa is pretty dope. Really cohesive graphics, too. 


I think I found an exploit, I can fire 3 or 4 shots if I mash the button around the beat. I also wish I could see my score/distance/streak after I lose. Maybe add a results screen?

EDIT: I also really liked the title screen. Reminds me of an NES game!
